So I have decided to start putting more time into my website and building it up. I must admit having HP's template has spoiled me and it's time for me to dig in and learn more about WordPress, SEO and running my own site.
So how do I change the title of my pages that I am posting on my site and what do I want to do with the titles? Is is the same as here where I would use keywords in the title that the page is about? How much does Google rely on the page title when ranking the pages or sites?
Is there a good site where I can get basic website building skills and using WordPress? I am technically challenged and need this stuff broken down for me in a way I can understand it. I have no problem coming up with good content or the creative side but the technical side is harder for me to learn.
Thanks for any advice!

I am working on one of my new websites - and I want to link back to my hubs here. How many times is this OK to do on a website page before it is overkill?

Does it hurt you SEO-wise to add a extra phrase to your title after the one with your keyword in it? In other wods, if your three word title with the keyword in it is a good one in terms of SEO but you don't think it gives enough info for the reader so you add something to it does that weaken...
