I suppose with the latest Google Panda update and all the low traffic we've been getting, I guess it's time to start writing more hubs. While I wasn't affected too badly by the update, I still want to increase my traffic and hit payout next month or the month after.
I want to hit 80 hubs by the end of this month, however that doesn't mean I won't write quality hubs! I feel like the quality of my hubs are going down a little, so I am going to renew that quality by writing stellar hubs.
So, I thought, why not have a group HubChallenge? There are so many benefits of joining, and if you join, we can share tips, give support and increase our traffic. Please come and join, writing more hubs is a great way to defeat Panda!
You can alter the challenge if you want, whatever suits you is perfect. Plus at the end, I'll say whether or not this challenge boosted my traffic.
Here are my targets for the next 60 days;
Write 30 Stellar, Evergreen hubs.
Plus, 10 product hubs, for boosting my Amazon sales.
What are yours? If you want to join, just say so below, start writing and post your links.
Here is my first hub for the challenge:

I would like to join, but is it too late? You started this post 11 days ago, and I read somewhere you shouldn't publish more than one hubpage per day.
Thanks for the reply. You sure can join if you want, it is up to you. Tell me here if you want to join and start writing hubs and post their links here. Looking forward to your hubs, if you join!
I love it, although it being September, think I am a little late in joining the challenge. My personal goals are a little lower than your suggestion, but I can't wait to work out my writing muscles. My goal is to write 8 quality hubs by the end of September and 8 product review hubs. I just finished my first hub of the challenge, Canning Recipes: Spaghetti Sauce. As a stay at home mom and homeschooler with a toddler and preschooler at home, and my crochet pattern business on Etsy, my writing time tends to be a little limited, especially with canning season upon us. Good luck all. I can't wait to see how this challenge affects our traffic and income!
Getting ready to post my 4th hub in 3 days!
http://modernhousewife.hubpages.com/hub … asher?done
I really and feeling a big boost of energy already from doing this challenge and am feeling really motivated to keep writing. I also have found that each hub gets a little bit easier to write. My first hub took several hours to write, but this last one only took an hour or so.
Finally! I've finished my second hub, and here it is! It took me a lot of work, around four hours between drafting, editing, pictures, other capsules etc. I hope you like it!
It is a hub about how to make bath bombs and goes a little outside the box as I explain how to make rose bath bombs, lavender bath bombs, fresh pine and cotton and orange and lemon grass bath bombs!
Here it is:

By the way, is anyone going to join the challenge? I'd love to do the challenge with someone!
I join, 30 stellar hubs in 60 days, I don't have adsense account yet, just wrote 13 yet, joined 4 weeks ago, I want to keep the production. I don't know about product hubs yet, gonna to do some research. Let's go!
Thanks for joining, Eco-Logic! I'm looking forward to doing the challenge with you. You have some great hubs about the environment, I am sure that will get good search traffic in the future.
I have to publish my third hub today so I should have it done later on today. Looking forward to your first stellar hub! If you don't want to do stellar hubs, you can do normal hubs, but you will get more traffic if you do stellar hubs.
Oh, in case you are wondering, a product hub is a hub that reviews products and puts an Amazon link to them so people can purchase them. Product hubs will boost your Amazon sales a lot. You can make a review about one item or you can make reviews about a series of items. If you want to stay in your niche of 'eco-friendly', you could write a hub about the best eco-friendly televisions or something like that.
After three busy days, I have finally published my third hub! I am falling behind a little, this challenge is getting very hard! I should have my next hub published in the next two days. I am up to a total of 47 hubs right now. Another 27 stellar hubs to go!
Right now, I and Eco-Logic are doing the challenge. Anyone else? I can say that my traffic and earnings have increased by since I started the challenge.

I posted my first hub for the challenge yesterday you can check it here:

I will post a new one today
29 to go! I don't know I if it is a stellar hub, I try to follow all the guidelines for a stellar hub but not sure if I achieved it! what is your opinion? where do I need to improve?
Thanks for posting your link, it is a great hub! It was a very interesting hub and has easy to follow instructions. I'm am becoming more eco friendly each time I read one of your hubs!
Here are the guidelines for a stellar hub;
More than 1150 words (which I think you have, check in the HubTool)
More than 3 images (which you have)
A Table (which you have)
A Poll (which you don't have)
That is it! All you need to add is a poll and you have a stellar hub! Well done for the hubs so far, you are doing great, looking forward to your next hub! Mine should be ready tonight.
I appreciate your response susi10! Will make poll later and turn my hub into a stellar one! I just made the part 2 of the DIY wind turbine subject, it's waiting for approval! A hub does not need to have a video in order to be stellar?
Hey guys! I too, joined Hubpages just 5 weeks ago. I've published 14 hubs so far and my goal is 30 hubs by the end of the summer. I publish about 3 hubs a week, but it's summertime and some weeks I get lazy. Plus being a stay at home mom to my 1 year old and my 3 year old leaves me with very limited writing time!
Happy to join the challenge and to meet you all!
I will join.
For the next 60 days:
I want to have 30 hubs altogether. I have 21 so far.
I want to have 15 of them featured. I have 6 so far.

Is anyone else still in this contest?? I haven't seen any posts in a while.
Is it too late to join in in this challenge?
I am new and need something to keep me excited while I start this new ventures.
Sorry. I think everyone but me dropped out of this one so I quit posting. Hope you find one in the forums. Michele
Well, I don't really have that much time lately to write a hub a day or every second day but this thread is still running. In fact, I will post here once every week. Sorry I dropped out earlier, well done though Michele, you have over 80 hubs!
That sounds more doable to me. When did this start?
I suppose it starts whenever you want, maybe this week. You can adjust your goals yourself, maybe 1 hub a week till Christmas or something like that.
Okay. Since there is at least one person still responding in this group I will go ahead and post my goals.
I have yet to write a hub so my goals will be challenging but hopefully realistic, here they are:
5 product reviews
The race is on.
I am working on a goal, which I have not met. I find it very challenging, because I get distracted reading the hubs of others and learning. I would like to:
- Publish 2-3 per week
- Tweak 1 per week
- Write one hub per week for my Capstone project
- Do Daily Hubivity (3 questions, 3 answers, 3 forum posts, 3 comments, update Facebook & Twitter)
I was doing some of this, but then I got the flu. This is my ultimate goal though - if I could do this each week for a year.

Take one of your old hubs, update it with new content, better photos, improved titles and add some additional modules (make it a stellar hub effectively) and then post it here for critique!

I haven't been actively writing on Hub Pages in a while and want to get back into this and this might get me motivated.I remember hearing about a 100 hub challenge some years ago and I know that I could not possibly write 100 hubs in a month. That is why I am attempting to do this in a...

Hello friends,After doing HubChallenge consistently for the last three months, I was able to publish 35 hubs in 30 days in January, 30 hubs in 30 days in February, and 30 hubs in 26 days in March. Now for this month, April 2010, I am again going to publish 30 hubs in 30 days. Doing this for the last...

On a different account, somewhat "experimental" account, one of my Hubs is unfeatured. Generally my inclination was to unpublish it and move it or just delete it. But I kept it and put it in a Hub group. Meaning, if the Hubs before and after it get traffic, possibly the unfeatured one...

I think I know something about writing articles. I created a new hub yesterday. HubPages took 24 hours before declaring, in one of their mystery messages, that it was of sufficient quality. You know what? It was too good. I deleted it and will now easily place it elsewhere and earn with it.No...

I've scrounged HubPages for this challenge as I posted one Sunday, one yesterday, and am working on what today. With only 20 hubs in the years I have been on here, I think it would be a great challenge. Is anyone currently undertaking this? Do you have any other advice?
