The "day views", "week views", and "month views" stats reported on HubPages are based on moving 24 hour, 7 day, and 30 day windows, and not discrete days. This means that at any given time the number in day views is based on the previous 24 hour period. They are generally updated each hour on the :10 or so.
It's good to know the rough time, it took me ages to narrow it down to :10 - :15 past every hour.
It's a good system, but would you guys consider giving people the option of flowing or static stats?

I have all zeros in the spots which usually give the stats on how many views my articles get. Is something wrong? I just noticed this late Saturday night.

I noticed this many months ago and the problem is still the same now and is measurable. I don't know if this applies to other users also but the stats showing in my account are way inaccurate. For example, after publishing my latest hub, my Blogger stats showed that over 290 users had clicked...
