About an hour ago I published a new hub with this address: http://wannabwriter.hubpages.com/hub/Wh … ters-World . I made a copy of the page after publishing: http://wannabwriter.hubpages.com/hub/Wh … World?done
I went downstairs for a few minutes and went to my stats page and clicked on the link. I was shocked when I saw this warning message at the top: WARNING: This Hub is at risk of being identified as Substandard . I went into edit and there was nothing at all inside the editor. Nothing. All photos, polls, and over 3000 words were gone. I am showing the little bit of the publish page I can get into a screen shot. I can sent the entire file if necessary, but I don't know where to send it.
I am using Mac OS X 10.6.8 and a Chrome browser, lastest version with latest Flash. I tried Safari. That meant logging in again and it took me to my feed at http://hubpages.com/feed/ . There was the link to my new hub, complete with intro photo. I clicked and it took me to my complete hub. But when I went to my account and clicked the link there, I got the substandard message again and the hub editor was blank again. I'm not sure which version will be assessed for quality -- the real published hub or the blank one. I'm not sure what I should do about this. I'm hoping everything will be better tomorrow.
Check your email for any notifications. HP would contact you immediately notifying you of the reason why it was unpublished.
There is no email. Whether the hub is published or not depends on which link you click. If you click the one in my feed, it's there. If I click it from my stats page, it's not there. In edit mode, there is no content showing at all, yet if you click the link from the feed, the entire hub was showing in published form a few minutes ago. Even hubs that are being assessed for quality or that have been unpublished are still there. You can edit them. But all capsules with content simply aren't there on the edit page.
If it is any consolation this is what I am seeing on my end...
If I click the first link on your post I get a "no longer published" message.
If I click the second link on your post I get your published hub with text and images.
Also, if I go directly to your profile the hub is already showing in your profile and the hub is complete with text and images.
I would assume (never assume ) we all see your hub. Also, if it is already showing on your profile it has already passed its quality check (not substandard).
It almost sounds like something is going on with your browser because I can see the completed hub and it appears to have passed. I hope it gets cleared up for you and you are able to see and access the complete hub from your stats page. Good luck.
Also, is it possible you started the hub twice and you are clicking the unfinished one from your stats page? I did that once, I had started two hubs with a similar title and had clicked the wrong one when I went to my stats page.
That is what happened. At first I could find no other hub with that title, but just now I did see that there is one farther up with a slightly different title and I do have this recollection of something weird happening when I started the hub. I changed the title by one word. The published hub is still pending quality assessment, but at least it's there. Just no ads yet. I'll go delete the empty hub. That's what happens when there are too many interruptions and you are working when sick.
Thank you very much missolive.
You are quite welcome, glad you found your answer. Life sure gets crazy sometimes
Ah you've solved it. I was going to ask if you'd changed anything on it and had somehow managed to end up with two versions of the hub. Glad its all sorted out now.
Glad to know that you've solved it. Once my hub got unpublished as soon as I hit the 'publish' button. There was an email in my inbox stating the reason why.
I've posted a comment in your new hub, just check it.
These are different urls you posted. One is published, the other isn't.

The question of whether poetry Hubs should have 400-word minimums came up in this thread a few minutes ago:http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/70203#post1528809I've been puzzling about what to do with poetry Hubs I've found while hopping. I haven't flagged any of them, because poetry is a unique...

Hi,this Hub of mine:http://hubpages.com/hub/Haiku-poem-Coca-Colahas been flagged as substandard (or in danger of becoming one or whatever). The Hub is a poem with a video clip. That's all that that Hub is supposed to contain, nothing more and nothing elseand your engine thinks it's lacking content...

Can moderators and administrators view hubs that have not yet been finished. One of my hubs that is in progress and not yet published, has already got a score of 70ish and had 19 views.

Well I decided to make a simple little layout to hopefully help some people out.It is clear videos are the future, and the lack of videos on this site is actually kind of embarrassing. Content is key and we should be using every available resource that we have here.My Hubs all certainly can be...

When I created a new page and kept unpublished, after two hours I noticed there were 2 page views, out of which 1 each from hub pages and facebook...How the Facebook traffic will be available for unpublished hub?
