Is it true that writers from India have to wait 6 months after creation of the Hubpages account for getting approved for Adsense?

It's one of Google's recommendations that you've to wait for 6 months in order to get Adsense approved. But if you write some good quality content, then you can apply after publishing 10 hubs here.

Not only India, it also includes Pakistan, China and some other Asian countries as well. You need to wait for at least months and write at least 10 quality hubs. Keep up the good work...

      Hi Nitin Pillai,

As many Hubbers have mentioned, there is indeed a waiting period for some countries outside of the US. You are correct that it is a 6 month wait for India (and China as well).

I had to wait for 11 months and by the time I had written about 45 hubs.  Usually they stick on with six moths policy for some Asian countries like India, Pakistan. But still, some Indian got their approval even within a period of two months of their starting. I remember the case of Deepa Teresa. She got a quick approval.

If you have good, unique and quality contents (around 5), you can apply easily for Google AdSense. I have only few hubs (only 10). I applied for Google AdSense when I have only 2 or 3 hubs and easily approved by Google AdSense.

Please remember, you contents should be good before applying Google AdSesne.

    Thanks

There are restrictions in certain countries, which may include mine. However, many hubbers/site owners claim that they were able to get approval without reaching 6 months. Just keep trying and write quality contents. In due time, you'll eventually get approved!

I got my adsense approval after 11 months, a little less than a year  and 25+  successful, featured hubs. I even got 10,000 views before getting approved for adsense.
So yes being an Indian, you have to wait a little longer, I suppose.
    All the best!

No. It is the quantity and the quality of the content which determines the approval of Adsense account. Write about 15000 words.

@Sanjay Lakhanpal, even for hubbers from India? How many months did you have to wait? Thanks!
