Writing solo, I love that you added quote. I loves quotes. Good idea.
So then I guess unfeatured definitely means invisible. Ok, this is it. I've seen what happens when ppl post their hubs on here for critiquing... Im kinda scared, but here you go. Keep in mind, I like hubs on the shorter side.
Strength in Times of Great Weakness
Sometimes the brightest light, comes from the darkest places.
Have you ever looked in the mirror and wondered why God put you on this earth? Surely He made others more talented, better looking, smarter, more effective, kinder... just all around more able than you. Many times I've looked at myself and at the core of my being I've thought, "failure". I don't know if I'm comparing myself to someone else or to the person I thought I should be... thought I could be. Either way, I know at times, I fall short of something better.
Look at the late Mike Weiss, a personal injury lawyer in Texas. A case fell into his lap, different from his usual ambulance-chasing fare. This one was a losing battle and no one else wanted to take it on. A surgical needle company was trying to suppress the development of a new safety needle that would save millions of lives in America and millions more around the world, each year. Children were paid to collect these needles for re-use. The plastic syringe was one of the main causes for the Aids epidemic in Africa, yet the big corporations still would not switch to the new option of the safety needle, as they feared it would be too great a cost for them to manufacture. Weiss was too far gone on the fast track with cocaine and prostitutes, how could he possibly make a lasting difference? He kept fighting though even when his own firm... even when his own client gave up. He ended up dying of a drug overdose, but his friend was so inspired that he picked up the torch and kept the fight alive until the money hungry corporation was forced to settle for millions. Thanks to Weiss, this safety needle is being used in thousands of hospitals right now. Lives are being saved all because a strung out lawyer didn't give up.
How many Olympic events do you remember? You've most likely seen some pretty amazing wins over the years, but if you watched Kerri Strug perform in the 1996 summer Olympics, you probably can't forget when she crumpled to the floor trying to stick her landing off the uneven bars and badly injured her ankle. Most athletes would have been in despair, praying their careers weren't over, but Kerri's coach told her she needed to perform again if her team was going to pull off a victory. So she did. And as she performed to near perfection, landing on one foot, throwing her arms up in the air, smiling from ear to ear... her coach came and carried her off the floor on to receive the gold medal she was instrumental in helping her team win. She didn't give up either.
It is in these clouds of great darkness that God's promises shine the brightest. He will never leave you or forsake you, He will finish the work He began in you. He loves you. Most of us can imagine an earthly kind of love, but we can't begin to fathom how wide and deep God's love is for us. If you look around you now and all you see is blackness, know that He is waiting for you with open arms. Know that His hand is reaching for you right now, and what Satan means for evil, God will use for good. You have the potential to shine in that very darkness that now envelopes you... don't give up!
Inspirational. You've given some great examples of courage and not giving up. In times like these it is good to be reminded that there is a rainbow, somewhere.
Aw, thank you. I was trying to figure out why it was so sub-par that it couldn't even be featured.
Edit: Oooh, I just read on another thread that the title should be capitalized, which I usually do, but for some reason in this hub, I hadn't. I fixed it. I wonder if that will help.
Although, I liked this hub, and am inspired by it, I think the message you are trying to convey is a bit unclear. You may disagree with me, and I might be wrong (Each one of us is different, and have different opinions).
Also, I disagree with a few things you wrote:
I never feel that my life is not fair. Remember, there are a lot of people who are less fortunate than you are. I was born with everything I need to get what I want; I have a brain, and it works fine. I have the tools, now it’s my job to build what I want.
I never feel that I am less able than others. Not everyone is a gifted in boxing like mike Tyson, but that doesn’t stop anyone from choosing boxing as a career. Every one of us is unique and has different talents; you can’t say that Stephan king is less able because he can’t pole vault, or Tom Cruise is less able because he’s not good in nuclear physics.
I wrote a similar hub titled "Stop Giving Up!" If you want, you can read it. I am open for criticism.
I hope you don't take it personally; if you want this comment deleted, just tell me.
That hub is in my other account by the name AMAZING THINKER--I forgot to mention that.
Right, I getcha. I thought that was the name of the hub.
Your English is good. Better than many Americans, so congratulations on that.
I read it... what kind of feedback are you looking for? My goal was to figure out why mine was no longer featured. If you weren't fond of my perspective on the same subject than I fear I would be the wrong person to ask concerning content, if that makes sense.

I have a hub that currently gets an amount of Google views per day I'm not allowed to specify, but which is certainly much more than most of my hubs that have already been moved were getting on Hubpages proper. Unfortunately, I think that there may not be a place for it on a HubPages network site...

Does anyone remember the movies 'Loose Screws' or 'Summer Job'? I used to sneak downstairs at night when my mom was asleep and watch these movies as a kid during the 80s. By today's standards they are probably tamed, cheesy and stupid. But those movies were my doorway to manhood!I also remember the...

Do you re-read favorite books over the years or are you strictly a read-it-once person?People have different philosophies on this question, some feel re-reading is a waste of valuable time in light of all the other books out there to read, while others re-read their favorite book once a year...
