I'm having trouble at the following Hub - http://imadork.hubpages.com/hub/Whats-That-Movie
At the bottom of the page, above the Comment box, the "See 47179 more comments" link won't load the historical comments. The page times out.
I posted a question on this Hub several months ago and want to search for responses.
That specific Hub has a huge number of comments (it may be one of the Hubs with the most comments).
The page certainly takes longer to load than other Hubs with fewer comments, but I just tested and the page did load fully.
You could easily be running into a system resources issue such as CPU, RAM, network bandwidth, etc.
I got it to load. It just took a while. A database of 47k responses (I didn't count them to make sure they all showed up) is a huge query.
I agree it is massive and spiked my browsers memory through the roof.
Thanks for all the responses. I had to let my machine run overnight to get all the comments to load. Unfortunately, my machine froze when I tried to scroll down. Bummer!
I guess I'll never know the answer to my question. :-(

Are you more likely to leave comments on hubs that receive responses from the hub owner?I always respond to comments I receive on my hubs. Do you think people are more likely to leave comments when they see responses from the hub owner to previous comments? Have you ever decided not to comment...

Hello everyone! Thanks so much for all the feedback you've provided regarding the new Hub design. We've taken it to heart and have rolled out two updates to the design:1. If you put your Hubs into a Group, the Hub featured in the top right sidebar will be the next Hub in that Group2. The footer will...

If I view my account's Comments page, it's easy to view, approve and respond to unapproved comments. However, if I go to a new comment in one of my hubs and click Approve, I cannot reply to it directly on the comment. Instead, I have to go to my main Comments page and find the now approved comment...

I'm pretty new at this, so I can really only gauge my hubs' performance against one another! This one is one of my earliest hubs, yet it has fewer views than ones that I've published just a few days ago.http://hubpages.com/hub/How-To-Choose-T … k-CookwareGranted, it's only been 3 weeks, but...

Why are these trolling HubPages members with no hubs written even allowed to stay on the site?So many say rude comments and give know-it-all "advice" yet don't even have ONE hub written. Like this person > LiveFreeBeFree Joined 2 years ago, has a 60 score and hasn't written a...
