What is the difference between Page views and Page Impressions??

Anybody please tell me what is the difference between page views and page impressions, because I dont get the same number of page views on my hubpages statistic page and page impressions on my google adsense report.I hope to get a reply soon.Thanksfavorites

Hello again! So looking at my Adsense Overview, I see a particular number of pageviews that doesn't seem to correspond to the page visits in Hubpages I have for the corresponding day. For those who have been here for a while , have you ever checked how many page views you need to get a click ?this figure is obviously related to the topic and quality of the hub , but it would be interesting to see if there are any general trends
