I've just recently hit over $5 in a single day! This is really exciting, and I can't wait to see how much further I get. I'd just like to thank everyone who has supported me and followed me, I love this site and the amazing people I've met along the way- there's a lot of you! This is an awesome find for one of the last days of 2013; I wonder what 2014 holds for us hubbers.
In either case, a HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! May everyone strike it rich!
Awesome. I´m still trying to get over $1 dollar, but writting more constantly now and focused on SEO traffic. I do make $5 dollars every day on Bubblews every day though, sometimes a little bit more than that. I love the different styles of both sites.
I envy more your hubber score. Mine dones´t rise above 85.
It does take time but the targeted traffic will flow once you tap it, I love the boost that HP gives to your writing. Take no effort to rank. And hubber score seems fairly unimportant if you ask me The only thing that is important is that your hubs are all featured. If they aren't featured, they never show; hubber score is just a shiny little medal. Kind of like receiving a medal for participating in a race, not winning. lol
But I have read that unless you hub score is above 85 your links are no follow by default, and I got a good group of hubs all linked together as they belong to the same brand review.
Well the funny thing is, it seems hubber score also drops when you publish new hubs- so what I wouldn't understand is why they'd dip hubber score before an evaluation, and have the links going in and out... I've seen it too, but it doesn't really seem to affect anything for me personally. But then again, I don't really have many links pointing to outward sites either. Hubs naturally dance in the search results, and get a boost from editing & adding content though- I've noticed that much!
Whoo hoo! Congratulations! You are doing wonderful and certainly an inspiration to the rest of us. Keep it up…we're right behind you... I hope!
Thank you! How has it been going for you? Inching closer yet???
Well I've been really slow on getting my next hub up, BUT…all of my hubs are featured and even with nothing new since 12/10 my 30 day traffic is 611,. Now that is an itty bitty score, but it does seem to have a life of its own, like you said…a little snowball. Two more up and I'll try for Adsense again.
It just requires you to keep trucking And yes, it starts off little bitty. But all great things must start somewhere! I'm sure, as long as you stick to it, you'll break out within a few month. Just don't let yourself get too frustrated But, it seems you've got an excellent handle on that anyways!!! Happy New Year EG!!!
Thanks AE. Hope you have a great New Year as well. I just published my 14th Hub…and you are linked in it as a reference.
I actually dropped in for some hub love before I left for work Thank you for the support and I'm so happy you're able to use it! Eeep! So excited- I came home and my 24 hr views were at just over 900; that wasn't even an hour ago. I'm now only 40 views from my first break of 1,000. The anxiety is building... That'll be the coolest milestone yet! But I don't think it will happen LOL. See, Sunday is my BEST day of the week, so I'm not 100% sure on why a Wednesday night is performing so well. Maybe it's because everyone's at home??? My gift wrapping hub went dead the day after Christmas; it was stirring up over 50-60 per day and it's not even contributing now. I'm going to have to return the favor on your mention, I will have to look into it more tomorrow to ensure it's a proper linking
Congratulations! You shouldn't be angry since you're making so much money!
You can do a lot with very few hubs! Some people find success with their talented fiction writing and opinion hubs, some find success with ignoring SEO; and that's real talent. I find that the research brings all of the traffic for me. I see you're more on the beginner's end, which I still consider myself to be... and it all falls in place! Keep going Rainsanmartin!
Drop us a note when you do. It's a worthy hub.
Wuuuhhhhaaaaaaat! That is awesome, angryelf. Congratulations to you on this most significant milestone, indicative of your hard work. Happy New Year and continued earnings for 2014.
Thank you! I'd like to see many more people with their own success on here as well, perhaps if that were to happen, we'd have a lot more improvements here for hubpages It's already great, but I think they should strive for excellence; maybe soon!
Great job angryelf.
I am now going to go read your hub that paradigmsearch posted here.
Cheers.
Wow, well done angry elf! Congrats to you, with only 37 hubs! Best of luck to you in 2014, both in traffic and earnings. I am sure you will make a lot of money in 2014. HubPages is a great site, there is no other site better than this. Have you been paid yet? I'll get my second payout this January, can't wait.
Yes ma'am I have! I'll be getting my 3rd next month, my earnings for this month should be closer to $100. It's absolutely awesome! They've been increasing drastically every month- as shown in the hub of mine that Paradigm shared. I haven't updated it again yet, but I need to! My goal is to reach $300 a month, which is to pay the bill on my truck while I'm going through school. I start back in January, and am scared I may not have much time to write then, with going to school full time AND working. I may actually have 2 jobs; as I'm threatened with a layoff (but got hours back this week, so it may come back) and am awaiting an interview for a pet supply store this week. I can't wait to see how everything turns out here, and in the "real world"! LOL
Congrats, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Here's to the sound of champagne on Hubpages
That's awesome! I haven't hit more than $3.50 in a single day and can't wait to hit $5. Good job and happy new year!
Hey, I wasn't going too far above $3.50 as of a week or two ago! I decided to randomly go through and spice up some of my hubs, and then traffic shot up a bit! Plus, the weekends tend to be the best time of the week for me (particularly Sunday!), so those two together proved for awesome results. It's definitely going to get there Heather, I wish you the best of luck and a great 2014!
Congratulations and wish you a very happy New Year angryelf! Even I like hitting new milestones and just a few days back, I received a mail from HP saying that I had 1000 visitors! Wow!
I checked that mail repeatedly and finally logged into my account to confirm that its true... And when I saw the number in my account for myself it was great. It is a good start for me.
PS: I really liked your hub on improving traffic and earnings of HP. Though I will have to post more hubs before even thinking about applying for AdSense.
Take care and may the year bring you lots of abundance!
Congrats Anita! All of these little positive motivators are just so incredible. That's one thing I love here; you don't get those motivators from a personal site. While it seems silly, those little Accolades & such nearly make it a game; I love it! And yes, most definitely focus on your hubs! They'll probably get their roots in the ground before you even get your adsense going, which will be a huge motivator when you see the earnings finally roll in. The best of luck Anita; and a happy 2014!
Wow... you must be really "happy" this New Year! I wish I can too... Congratz
That's a wonderful milestone to achieve and an amazing accomplishment for December, considering the fact that you don't have Hubs for December holidays. If you can achieve that in December, it will only go higher in January and beyond. Congratulations!
I have one: the gift wrapping one But that could apply year round I'd say! I'm really hoping to see it continue to go up, that way I can add some more good information to my traffic hub. I have a little to add; but I'm waiting to see what else I can manage first. I may wind up completely rewriting different parts, all depending upon my findings. It's just truly unbelieveable how POWERFUL of a platform Hubpages is. It blows my mind. We're ALL sitting on a golden goose egg here. I'm just trying to find the best way to crack it open

One of the advantages of having an overall hubber score of 75 or above is that we get 'Dofollow' links on our hubs, which are considered more valuable by Google when deciding search results. My question is, if my hubber score temporarily falls below 75, do we lose those dofollow links? (In other...

I've been on here for a few years, and I guess I never really understood the point of these scores. They don't seem to provide any real value to the user and I can't convince myself that they add value because they fluctuate so much. What's the point? Am I supposed to use these scores to tell me...

This system of hubber scoring is really disgusting. Hubbers posting hubs are assigned low hubber score for several reasons but hubbers without publishing a single hub are participating in forums and have hubber scores of >80. Is it enough to post a adult photograph in profile to get assigned a...

I rarely complain and try to be as polite as possible. However, there are some things that sometimes really confuse me and I struggle to understand how HP works. For example I recently came upon hubs that struggle (at best) with the use of the English language. The author has very few hubs (two...

I'm thinking the answer is probably yes?If you have hubs that have been deemed "not featured", for one reason or another, will that factor into lowering your overall score/rating as a HubPages member? Example--let's say your overall rating is 75. If 10 non featured hubs become...

Hi Anybody..I need help.I am probably am asking stupid questions. If you feel that I am, just ignore me. I've been here since late June, and thanks to all the advice I took early on, I have a good hubber score (ranges 95-100).I have 14 hubs,(or 15..can't remember..)and I like what I have done...
