My Personal Nano for March 2014

    My goal is to write 50,000 words for the month of March

    I am setting this goal so I can get back into the swing of things because it has been a while  since I have submitted anything to Hub Pages. 

    This is how I will attempt to do this:

    Submitting new hubs.  I am finishing up my Breaking Free bible study so some of those hubs will come from there.

    Editing previous hubs.  I have been looking at some of my other hubs and I see some where I can add more quality content.  I will have to figure out how many words more these hubs contain.

    Blogging.  I know I can't post these as hubs since they are personal and probably would not be published.  So when I blog I will just put the word count.

    Note:  If I write a hub but it is not ready to be published, I will just let you know the word count, then publish it when it is edited.  (When I did the actual Nano I did the writing in November and the editing in December).

        Thank you one of the reasons I am doing this is I try to write 500 words a day.  I am a little behind and doing this will help me get caught up.

      Right now at 1158 words.  I am doing a weight loss blog on blogger.  The only thing if I share  tips or recipes that I find online, I won't count that as word count.  If you are interested, check my profile for the URL.

      This is a great time to write more hubs since they have a contest going on.

      While the number of words is a big deal for the Nano to get stuff written for a novel, I'm not so sure it matters as much for hubs.  The point is to add lots of information and make it reader friendly.  You don't want to add fluff just to add to the word count, and it is the content and quality of the presentation and not the number of words that matters.

        I agree if I don't make my goal, I am not going rush and try to publish substandard material.  I won't publish until I am sure that it meets HP standards.  So maybe it will take me an extra month to publish

        Total Word Count 19460  Okay I am done with the Beth Moore Breaking Free Study.  I am still in the process of editing some of the older entries.  I am going to pick up from where I left off in a Genesis Bible Study.  I did post some hubs about Temptation and the Fall a while back.  Then if I finish that, I have a short story that I has been going around in  my mind.  But I am not sure if I will post on hubpages or just in blogger.

        Over the weekend I created a list of Home Remedy and Natural Therapy topics that I wand to write about.  My list contains 400 topics so that is approximately 2000 words

        I also have been working on "The Dark World" during this month.  it is a fantasy novella.  I still am not sure where to publish it when I am done.  So far I have 13, 767 words on this which makes my

    I usually do "Nano In July".

    I used to do it in Nov. like it is usually done, but with kids, holidays, cooking, shopping, work, etc.-- it just wasn't a good month for me.

    July sucks here in FL-- tourists are in town and hitting the beaches, the heat and humidity are terrible and we take off from homeschooling, so I can curl up in the AC and write away.

    Well I am new to "hub pages" and I am trying to thinking to reach at least 30,000 words in the month of March.
    Currently I am on 3700 words.
