I published a new Hub on Wednesday. I've received 2.3k "Likes" within the article, but My Hub Statistics shows only 1,310 total. How can this be? Something is clearly not right here and I'm obviously not getting credit for a lot of hits.
The statistics show who actually looked at the hub, some people may have simply liked it on Facebook without going to the hub.
Just making sure you are looking at all time stats and not daily stats?
Yes, I am looking at all time stats. Are you saying that when the article is posted on Facebook, and a person clicks "Like," that it shows up on the count within the article? I don't see how that would work. Besides, the article was posted several places on Facebook, and received many more "Likes" than what is showing up on the count within the article.
As @Millionaire Tips explained, a Facebook like does not mean that the person necessarily read the article or visited HubPages at all, simply that they clicked the like button on Facebook. The count works via the Facebook API.

How does Hubpages count no views when my Hub yesterday received 7 comments? My Google Analytics says I received 54 views and Hubpages says 32. Is there something wrong here? Please any feed back would be appreciated.
