The hub I published this morning says not featured but has a good score and ads? I'm on my phone so I can't edit it. This is not a low quality hub though.
A hub score of 80 and not good enough to be featured? We are all doomed...
Update. Leastwise I know I am.
Typically mine have started in the 70s and climbed. I have 200 featured hubs. I know how to write quality. I'm more than a little put out. I did email the team to find out what is going on. I'm not a newbie at this.
Listing and Description of All Disney Parks Around The World
Post the URL so we can all put our two cents in.
Update: Scrap that. You don't want the thing stolen before Google has a copy of it.
It's just a little bit about the basic history of the Disney parks in America, Europe and Asia with the location, opening dates and interesting facts. I included short, relevant videos for each section so I'm not sure...can you have too many videos?
Anyway, it's back to pending so we'll see what happens this round.
And Google has already crawled it so at least there's that even if it did get the dreaded "no index" message.
I pinged our quality team to see if there is an issue. Thanks for providing the title.
Okay. Back home now. Added a comma to it to hopefully send it through QAP again.
Is it not featured or is it pending? I have one that has pending since last night.
Lisa, it seems that timing for QAP has been all over one place. I published two hubs in one day and one went through in less than 2 hours and one took almost a full day.
I saw that this Hub morning on email as a newly created Hub by you. Were there even any any minor warnings?
I have one which has been featured for some time with a minor warning that I keep trying to fix/find but it does not change. The warning is still there every time that I edit it.
No, there was no warning or explanation. The Team email reply seemed to not understand what I was asking noting that it was still pending. It's still pending because I edited it to send it back through QAP. (I'm sure they get people that get confused and I have no doubt they are so busy but being here a year and a half with my featured hubs you figure I know what I'm talking about.)
It did go through. Got a score of 80 and was not featured with no reason as to why. So a comma was added (one I had debated about earlier) and it's now pending again. And with the QAP times varying widely it may finish in another hour or not until tomorrow so I could be waiting awhile.
I'll let you know the result.
Looking over the Hub I noticed that the first photo was not just the usual 'free to share'. It was public domain which says you can use it 'unless' and then there are many things to read. It seems tricky. That may be why your Hub was featured/not featured. It was probably okay but until HP was sure...
Photo attribution is not part of the QAP evaluation.
Examiner. Are you talking about the very first photo of the castle? I just checked and it says " ____ grants anyone the right to use this work for any purpose, without any conditions, unless such conditions are required by law." But yes, they do not consider photos unless they are watermarked.

Were you looking at it on the HP app when you saw a score? Mine shows a score of 87 on the app, but on the computer, it still says pending with no score. Maybe that's what happened with yours. Mine has been pending since about 1 a.m.
Yes, they actually do have an app. Mine is still pending after 16 hours. The good news is that I just got an EC for my previous hub.
I think it is not an HP endorsed ap, is what I mean. No, my view was the same as if looking online so I could see the empty circle for not featured and the score (which you can't see until after it goes through QAP). I really feel like it was a glitch.
As for the pending 16 hours, it really seems random which ones of mine go through and which ones take forever. Used to it only took 2-3 hours but for the past couple of weeks it's been very random. Hopefully it will get out of pending mode soon.
As far as apps go, there is an old version for iOS and a version for Android that we have nothing to do with.
We recently made some changes to the mobile version of the site, so as far as accessing the site from a mobile device we suggest using a mobile browser like Chrome in Android or Safari in iOS and not a app.

I am just curious, all 92 hubs of mine are featured. In your opinion, should one delete (although Featured) any hubs where the score on a particular hub has eventually dropped way down from when it was initially high at one point? Or would it be better to just unpublish and later...

Something happened to me today that I have not experienced before.I did some "gardening" and revision work on one of my featured Hubs... and I was "done editing" it stopped being "featured" and instead became "pending" with the usual "going through QA...

Why do non-featured Hubs rejoin the pending queue when edited?I have one non-featured hub and anytime I edit it, it gets put back in the pending queue. Why is that? It doesn't happen with any of my other hubs, which all happen to be featured.

I just got an email from Hubpages about the hub I published today:"We wanted to let you know that Garlic-Lemon Hummus Recipe has the opportunity to become Featured! Featured Hubs are showcased on Topic Pages and Related Hubs listings. They are also made available to search engines. We want...

I have only ever had one featured hub before but when I checked my account today I was shocked to find I have 13 in featured hubs due to low engagement. This is proof that traffic has fallen greatly. It's not just my lowest scoring hubs either..it is right across the board. Is anyone else...

If a hub is not featured does that mean that it doesn't get any search engine traffic from Google or other search engines?
