Hello,
I have a dachshund oriented website with google adsense thruout.
I have a dachshund hub page and have had for awhile. I just found out that
I can somehow copy my adsense over to include my hubpage so that I can also get credit for any clicks on the google adsense advertising within my hub.
I just implemented the following instructions:
--------------------------------------------
How do I track the performance of Google AdSense on HubPages?
The easiest way to keep track of your Adsense earnings on HubPages is to create a channel URL in your Google Adsense account. This will allow you to seperate your HubPages earnings from your other sites.
1. Log in to your account at https://www.google.com/adsense/
2. Click the Channels link below the AdSense Setup tab.
3. Choose the AdSense for content sub-tab and click the URL Channels link
4. Click Add new URL channel, and in the resulting text box, enter the URL that you would like to track (use "hubpages.com" to track all of your impressions on HubPages)
5. Click Add channels.
The new URL channel will begin tracking data almost immediately.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is there anything else I need to do? I feel like something is not right here. How do my google adsense ads on my website get magically copied/transmitted onto my hubpage?
Thanks, Link
It wont get magically copied bro! To do that follow the steps below;
1. login to your hubpages account
2. click on the "My account" on the top navigation bar in black
3. In the list on right side click on "Affiliate Settings"
4. On this page you will see an option to add your adsense ID.
Once it is done you will start earning out of it. You way of tracking your income through hubpages via URL channel is correct.
A lot of people have trouble figuring out what the code is to enter, you are looking for a publisher id:
Log into adsense
go to the my accounts tab
scroll to the very bottom of page
it says property information
the first code should look like this
AdSense for Content: ca-pub-790728200000000
thats the code you need to enter into the corresponding spot in the affiliates tab in Hubs in order for Hubs to serve ads that will be credited to your account
the channel info that you referenced is for detailed tracking and advertiser bidding not for actually linking your two accounts
edit--- its also easily found at the very top right of your logged in screen

So I've been a Hubpage and Squidoo writer for the past 5 years. Recently, my 185 Squidoo hubs were transferred over to Hubpages and to start earning money, I applied for the Google adsense program about 2 weeks ago. It appears that my account was approved for a couple days and then I...
