Hey, Fellow Hubbers. For the past one week I have been experiencing agonizing drop in my page views. It is about two third cut. Such a drastic drop in pageviews is difficult to imagine. Obviously, my income has also dropped to about one third. Any suggestions/remedies? Has any body else experienced it?

What I'm seeing is page views are prtty good, but revenue per click is down. My actual page views are up maybe 150%, but earnings have not increased much, if at all.

Everyone starts a forum when their traffic or views drop. There are a lot of reasons for it because the audience has many excuses for the changing - seasons, holidays, school (tests, breaks), heavy work, light work, etc. It cannot be helped. Traffic/viewing always goes up and down.

@srsddn. I took a look at some of your Hubs. They look like they are layed out well, but they have one key issue - grammar. I've seen a number of accounts like yours get hit by panda.

Here is what I would do if I wanted traffic to return.  I'd unpublished all my Hubs and starting with the highest traffic hub, I'd fix the grammar and spelling.  Perhaps ask a friend to proof read and then republish.

I know that this may seem like a lot of effort, but grammar and spelling is a significant piece of the panda algorithm.

      Paul:

This reinforces what I have been saying for a long time, which is that if you do not have a good command of the English language, you should not be trying to write on this site because achieving on any meaningful level will be almost impossible.

If Google does not like you, your work will not get seen, thus, no readers and no money.

Therefore, writing here is a waste of time.

I was an English teacher and can tell you that improving language skills is extremely difficult and is very time consuming.  Unless you want to pay someone to proof  and correct every single post you write, trying to learn to write well enough to suit Google (as well as the general public) is not going to work out.

Isn't this a case where your HubPro editors could be put to very good use?

You can definitely do well for a while if you find great topics and do well with imagery, but it appears to catch up to people eventually.

We really feel for some of these people and we are hoping we can help them out with a number of planned features.

I think Google gets this wrong (sometimes) when someone has genuinely interesting/useful information but not great command of English.  I feel like value should trump grammar.  A discussion we've had many times at HubPages.

I have also been experiencing sudden fall in traffic. I was not much active in Hubpages since last four years. However, I started devoting more time here since last 15-20 days. I found my traffic rising and it raised by 25% in seven days. And then it went down drastically, almost by 60 % last week.
I am continually improving as my hub scores and hubber score has jumped up but traffic is not increasing.

    I do not know, why?

Agonizing drop in traffic since a while ago, appeared to be permanent damage.

I consider my hubs high quality, was about to do more when this happened, so give it all up, not worth it.
