I've just signed up with a new account (moving over from Squidoo), and I'm a bit confused since the profile form asks for a website, however, when I put my website address in, it said that website is not allowed, but no clue as to why? It's just my website, it's not an affiliate site or anything dodgy. It has its own unique domain name, and nothing dodgy about it, so I'm wondering, since the HubPages profile form asks for a website, why it's not allowing it?
Any ideas please?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the reply. But why is it prohibited? There is no content on it that is in any way offensive or illegal; it's not even selling anything!?
I clicked the link you gave, but there doesn't seem to be an option on that page to ask this question.

I had a message today that I have been 'selected' for HubPro - does this mean that an editor will change my work without my consent? I am confused about what I have read here on the site.I like the idea of help to improve my work, but am concerned that as I do not have a copy of all my hubs, I will...

HiI would like to refer a couple of people who I think are great writers but I would like this referral to be tracked. I am a little confused on how to do this as on the referral tracker tutorial page it says, as an example: www.hubpages.com/_signup/hub/Seattle_Coffee_ShopsIf your potential writers...

Hi all,Yesterday, when I logged in, I was at 85. Now, I am at 83. I havn't published any hubs or answered any questions, obviously because I was logged out. I am a little confused on how the rating could have gone down. Do Hubs change in rating? I never really paid attention. I noticed one...

Do you need to have a Google Adsense account in order to generate earnings on HubPages? I was a Squidoo writer before this and am having a hard time understanding how earnings work on this site, any and all help is appreciated.

Okay I give up. I am unclear on how I actually ad the ads to my hubs so they show up and I can earn revenue from them. I have adsense and I created three ads on their site and they offer for me to copy a code, but there is nowhere on my hubs to put it. Are the ads just added automatically because...
