Hey everyone. I'm new to hub and new to publishing articles in general, but I am excited and motivated. I was wanting to reach other to some helpful hubbers and see if anyone would be interested in checking out the little bit of content I've added and getting back to me with some feedback. I know I need to improve, please help me know where to start correcting and how to start growing little by little. Thank you! I will definitely be checking into your hubs in return. I think the best way to learn is to explore!
Hi Emi, I am no expert by any means at hubs or cooking hubs (I only created my first one the other day to check out the format), I did find it difficult to put more words into it - and that is what you need also, more content (especially words).
If you look up to the top on the right hand side when editing your hub, there is a box area where you have suggestions, etc. The tool I use is the stars. If they are all highlighted, I can publish. They are highlighted as you reach so many words, pictures and little extras when creating your hub.
That is one suggestion, but the main thing is to look at other successful writers hubs and read tutorials. You get an idea of whom is a successful writer through the forums or just search around.
That's how I learnt and I just went past 500 000 overall views this week
Good luck
Hey Emi,
Glad to meet you! I'm new to the hub too. I think there are so many thinks to update our hub score and as you say the best way is to explore. I'm doing the same and going through several interesting hubs being share. Trying to give the best to uplift my hub score. Best of luck!
Hello guys and gals - I'm also new to HubPages - being on Squidoo for a long time. My "lenses" now became "hubs" and I'm still learning the ropes...
I'm from South Africa and when the mood strikes me, I write about whatever comes into my head!
I will follow and comment on you guys if you will return the favour?
thank you so much for your suggestions. I will add more content and I'll remember to keep my eye on that star tool.
Hey everyone. I'd just like to say thank you to those who have posted on this forum and I enjoyed checking out your hub, and I appreciate any input that you have given. I want to make sure all hubbers know I would appreciate any tips/advice that any one can offer me. I know there are lots of helpuful hubbers out there! I am very motivated to become a successful hubber, but I know everything takes time and I'm willing to put forth the effort. If anyone has time to drop by some of my hubs and leave some of their amazing constructive criticism, I would be very appreciative, and I would love to check out your hubs too!

My hub scores range from 65 to 87 as of the last time I looked. My average is 73. To me it seems like I have a "C" average. I'm disappointed and discouraged. I am doing everything that is recommend to get a good score. It is disheartening not to get a feedback. For...

I would appreciate if Staff would tell me whether GamerGirl and Whitney, both of whom have chosen to crawl through all my output (output which staff courteously restored after I had totally deleted it on my sabbatical) and repetitively downthumb and flag me, have been assigned by staff as my...

I'm not asking about why hubs get featured or un-featured. I kind of know that. The issue is: I just did a category search in my hubs, and found that, out of 292 published hubs, 149 are unfeatured due to low traffic! That's a lot! Over half my articles! I don't have the time...

An ongoing topic I've seen over the years I've been on Hubpages is "How do I make my low traffic hubs better."I saw it again today in a Hub Pro thread (if you haven't already, should definitely opt in - it was a fantastic experience.)My best advice to anyone who is writing online is:If it...

This is a two-fold issue. I know we're in the middle of a Google Typhoon or whatever animal is wreaking havoc this month plus the summer traffic is, well, obviously somewhere else. In January/February of this year, my traffic was around 2000 views per day. Right now, I'm lucky if I crack 400. I'm...
