I'm familiar with the problems some people have been experiencing since whatever happened on Saturday 9/27 and that HP is in the process of clearing everything up, but I'm not sure if other people are having the same problems I'm still having so I'll list them here. Just to note, I've followed some of the advice that's been posted in the forums about clearing the cache and such.
1. I'm still coming across hubs and profiles that have missing images.
2. I have my email notifications set so I receive a "digest" of all the activity of the people I'm following, but I haven't received that since Saturday.
3. While browsing through the Q&A section, some of the pages load very slowly and, when I try to post answers, they sometimes aren't accepted on the first try.
4. I know some people will say I'm complaining only because of a low score, but the hub I published during the problems on Saturday received a score of 50. Why mention it? Every other hub I've ever written has scored at least a 75 on the first try. I'm wondering if the glitch cause other people's hubs to also get low scores during that time.
Okay, the low score may be my problem alone and maybe the hub just isn't as good as I think it is. Have the other glitches been fixed and there's something I need to do to get my browser (Firefox) working properly or are they actually things still being worked out by HP?
1. Me, too, including broken images on my own profile, and in my own hubs.
2. I've been receiving my digests every day. Check your spam folder?
3. I've been experiencing this, too. It hangs so badly between clicking the submit button and the post appearing that I have time to open another window and do something else while I'm waiting.
I haven't posted anything new this week, so I can't respond to #4.
There was an intermittent issue that affected the site over the weekend.
We have since worked to resolve this issue.
You can find a bit more information here.
http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/125323
The site should now be working, so please try these steps and then let us know if you continue to have issues with the site.
http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/Diag … r-problems
We apologize for any inconvenience.
If after trying the steps above (clear cache, etc.) , you are still missing images on your Hubs, please share the URL and/or title of the specific Hubs and we can look into it further.
I have been seeing the "something went wrong" message every time I do an edit and try to save.
When you cleared your browser cache and restarted your computer was there any change?
What operating system, web browser, and web browser version are you using?
If you clear the cache now and try a different browser like Opera, are you able to bypass the error?
Is this why our earnings are so low as well? I have seen a drastic decrease in my earnings since all of this chaos started.
Thanks Matthew. I've done the clear cache and, according to Firefox I have the latest version. I'll take a look around and see what happens with the pages and other things. If I still find some problems, I'll let you know.

Interesting thing just happened. When I clicked submit for this response, the little icon showed that it was working and it took about 20 seconds. Instead of posting the response and taking me back to forum, I got a gray page saying something about an error and the page "resetting". I should've copied/pasted it.
Can you tell me if the Amazon and eBay earnings are behind as well? Or clicks? I was averaging 6 to 13 clicks and day and I haven't had any clicks in four days which is unusual
I'm not aware of any specific Amazon or eBay reporting issues.
It could be a side effect of the general site issues and we are working to resolve those that linger. It could also be a result of recent Google Panda (4.1) revisions as well.
Thanks for your continued patience!
Sorry also needed to know why earnings are 1/4 of what they were before site problems? Page views haven't been affected - was fine until two weeks ago. Made .55 $ yesterday compared to $4 in one day two weeks ago. That's DRASTIC
If the traffic is relatively constant, then it is likely a result of a different CPM.
For traffic drops right now, it is likely related to recent Google Panda updates (sometimes referred to as Panda 4.1)
Some sites have reported as much as a 70% drop in search visitors.
Hi Matthew:
She is saying not that her views dropped, but that earnings on the same number of views are 1/4 of what they were before.
I experienced a similar issue in July. Page views were the same, but earnings were one half of they had been for a year previous to that drop.. It has remained at 50% since then.
the no.4 happens to me. My previous 3 hubs were featured, but this week I have published 2 hubs and both of them aren't featured, does this related?
Currently stats and earnings are delayed and being adjusted.
You can a message with more details on this page related to stats.
Stats are currently 5 hours from current.
http://hubpages.com/my/hubs/stats
There may be some adjustments that will be made to the data you are presented.
Thanks once again. It does seem that most of the issues are clearing up slowly and every day seems better.
Yes, it's slowly progressing to betterment. Things are getting addressed and set right as per the recent results that are being noticed by us on our statistics pages.
Although stats are now shown to be current, there are still a lot of errors. I have a popular hub reporting 0 page views for the last 24 hours. When I checked the traffic information HP makes available on the page, current page views (today) shows 50 just from Facebook. Obviously there is still something wrong.
This is totally out of context, but I can't seem to post any other way today.
A HUGE THANK YOU TO DR. MARK
My dogs "inhale" their food, they are so anxious to consume it. Tonight my precious Cave really did inhale his food, and your article on how to save a choking dog saved him.
I was feeding the dogs, and heard a heavy wheezing sound. Cave was making quick short breaths with a high wheezing gasp. I pulled Cave out of his crate, and gave him the doggie Heimlich maneuver that Dr. Mark recommended, then he coughed several times, swallowed heavily and stopped wheezing.
I don't know what I would have done if I had not read your article. Thank you - this is my darling baby boy, and you are my hero! I shared your article on FB a month or so ago and will share it again. I think anyone who cares about their pets should do so as well.
Thank you again!!!!!
I am experiencing the same thing in regards to missing images. Pages are also loading slowly. Also when I was trying to reply to your post a erorr message appeared, reload with a picture of a broken robot. I thought it was my browser so I cleared it, but nothing has changed. I'm not sure if we have to go through Firefox, however I get a lot of spam when I use Firefox. Your Hubs are great by the way I love reading your historic knowledge it's original!
My hubs are okay, I think. The images are there, as I just viewed them.
But, the statistics are not okay. It is the same figure since 5 days or more. And the hubpages already acknowledging the glitch as they put in the note that statistics contain figures 4 days ago and prior to it only.
So, they are informing you and are aware that we are worried. So, no need to worry. Once the problem resolves, all the glitches shall be addressed to.
I'm getting slow response times. I posted a reply to another forum thread just now, the green circle went round quite a few times and then the post did appear but the following red text error appeared at the top of the page "You have recently submitted a very similar post, posting the same message repeatedly is prohibited."
I had not tried to resubmit, I just waited, but it evidently thought I had pressed again. Just thought I would flag this up as it indicates that not all glitches are resolved.
The same thing happens with me also, but I understand the problem. Your reply takes more time to be published. But, in the mean time, thinking that some thing didn't work, we press the post button again. For the computer, it is a repetition of the post, as you have already posted it and it took more time in publishing. That's why it warns you not to repeat same post again. WE must wait with patience for some time, so that it takes time to publish. Do not press the post button again and again.
If you re-read what I said, I did NOT press the button again. I waited. That's why I am querying the error because HP thought I had pressed it when I had not. That is a definite glitch.
I have had the same problem when posting to the forums (and I didn't press submit twice), so I'm basically not doing anything until the glitches are fixed. I have a hub I need to update, and I'm hesitant to even try with the issues that are taking place. Hopefully the site will be running smoothly asap. I'm sure the team is doing their best.
This is a known issue and I posted a thread here.

You know what I love about HP? All you on the staff are so helpful. No matter how many times we bring up issues that have already been posted somewhere else, you repeat the answers and provide links to great help pages. I'll try not to drive you crazy.
Previously my hubs were starting off with scores in the 70's but now they're starting off in the 50's. They do appear to be increasing though as they get viewed. Pages are loading slower for me and occasionally the page just hangs. I had a few issues this morning creating a hub where it didn't appear to be doing anything so I ended up with 3. You're not alone.
Thank you Rachel for telling me about your hub scores starting off low. This is new for me and perhaps there's something new with the scoring system. I'll have to take another look at the pages about creating stellar hubs and so on and see if there's anything new there. I hate hearing about anyone scoring low when I know they're a very good writer, but I do have to say I feel better that I'm not alone.
I have also experienced slow loading over the last three days and errors when trying to save edited modules. This is on two different computers and a noticeable change from the previous many months of daily access.
sheilamyers: I have read your problem list and I am experiencing mostly the same issues. It is very frustrating. I published a new hub on the night of Sept. 30, it is on my hub list, but NO comments, notifications, na da. I am tired, sick, and losing patience.
P.S. and having to endure that stupid wheel that says, "working," yeah, it might be working, but where is the wheel that says SLOWLY????
I think you are too excited unnecessarily. When it says working it is working. It may take time due to the changes and amendments they are making to enable squidoo members to easily update their hubs. They are accepting the fact that website is slow nowadays due to these problems and they are trying their best to make it quick. Matthew, with all do respect, we know that it is a known issue. What we want is an actual answer from staff about what you will do moving forward to ensure that hubbers keep earning, keep getting traffic, and stop dropping in rank according to Google. I have not seen one post from staff addressing this in any way, shape or form that would comfort any steady earner here.
Every morning I wake up to see my total views Ever have decreased by another 1000 views.
Google Analytics views for the last week are 600 views higher than the views reported by HP.
Relache had suggested that our HP views are reported simply as a convenience, and have no bearing on our income. Is that correct, or did I misunderstand her?
I just tried to visit HP and got a message the site is offline. Then the page appeared. Thanks for investigating.
From http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/hubs … bber-score
What makes a HubScore change?
HubScores are based on a wide range of different factors, including the amount of traffic your Hub gets, your reputation in the community, reader response to your Hubs (e.g. voting them up or down, leaving comments, sharing Hubs in the Feed, and leaving Hubber feedback), and the uniqueness of your content. With this being the case, getting more traffic to your Hubs over time will certainly improve your HubScore, but keep in mind that the quality of your traffic will also influence the metric (if a higher percentage of your traffic comes from reputable sources, you'll see a more positive effect on your HubScore).
Keep in mind, you won't have an official HubScore until your Hub is evaluated for quality. If your Hub becomes Featured, then the score may rise as readers engage with it.
And it depends on your active participation also, I hope. If you are daily visiting the hubpages and clicking, replying to questions and answers or on forum discussions, your scores may not go down.
Your daily presence is also something worthy which shouldn't be ignored.

I know there have been a lot of changes in the air in the past 10 or so days... There was another big Panda update... then the stinkin' Penguin and all. And, HP has been tinkering around with the design of pages. My traffic has remained relatively constant through it all. But, over...

Does anyone really make money on HubPages?I have worked and worked, all original content, all by myself, and I have not earned a dime. I get visitors. The second issue...I can't connect my hubpages to my paypal account.

I understand it difficult times but what good will deleting hubs do? I see some of the most prolific hubbers deleting heaps of hubs. Have we lost the hope of a hubpages bounce back?

How do you feel?

I'm just curious to see what the average is for newcomers to earn in their first month. I know that the more hubs you have, the more impressions you'll have and potential clicks, but I'm really interested in hearing from some of the top earners, maybe to help inspire newcomers who aren't...

I'm new to HubPages, so give me a break if this is a terrible question. I nearly have 40 followers, and I have posted 15 hubs in 5-6 weeks. When do you start making the big bucks?
