Hubpages statistics (how many views per day per hub) not refreshing

    For the past 3 days my hubpages statistics have not been updated. I saw a notice from hubpages twice on my accounts section stating that hubpages is going through some maintenance and that statistics will be updated in a day or two but it has been more than 3 full days already. Am I the only one?

      Currently stats are delayed.
      You can see a message at the top of the stats page.
      We are aware of this issue and are working to get stats current.

        Matthew, are you sure this isn't already fixed? I don't have the message at the top of the stats page, and my stats have changed twice during the last half an hour.

          This is the current message on the stats page for my account
          "Includes data from 4 days ago and earlier"

            I thought you meant the extra message informing of a change of data base. Nevertheless, my stats have changed twice today so far.

            Hi Matthew,

            Just so you know, I don't have that message at all and the stats are still, as you suggest, over 4 days old. But the message is clearly not on everyone's pages.

    No, you are not and it has been more than three days. It is frustrating when you are a stats watcher. If you read of people's stats at the moment they are most likely using Google Analytics. Like you, I hope it sorts out soon.

    What's very odd is that the message has gone away at the top of the hubs dashboard however there is no ad data after Sunday. 

    I don't understand that.

      There are all kinds of odd things happening at the moment, from the site simply being down, to verrrry slow loading times, to weird formatting errors (such as I saw on today's HoTD, which had three comments boxes all kinda overlaying each other) and well, just loads of stuff.

      It makes the site not only hard to use at the moment, but it must look really cronky to visitors, too.

      It seems that there are three storms leading to this 'bad weather' experience on HP at the moment and they are all happening simultaneously:

      1. A Panda Update
      2. Migration of lenses from Squidoo
      3. Transfer to new servers

      And in honesty, that should be enough to bug-up any website. In many ways it is a wonder that it still works at all! Still, there is nothing that we humble content writers can do but sit it out and wait.

      Backing up, of course, is strongly advised. I still have faith that this ship will take us to the farthest shore unharmed - but it might also just sink like the Titanic without a moments notice. Back-ups are your life-jacket.

    I've had no update for more than 3 days either. It is frustrating but it'll hopefully  be sorted soon.

    I am a bit relieved to know that this is a mass thing going on and nothing is wrong with my hubpages. Therefore, I am confident that hubpages team will fix this. But I do hope that it happens sooner than later.
    And I am a stat watcher and it's killing me!! Especially because my stats picks up so well the past 1 months almost nearly as good as pre-panda updates

    I can well see why the three things all at once would cause problems. I'm also well used to overseeing systems updates so I'm not hassling for it to be fixed fast - I'm sure they're doing all they can to sort things out.

    The bit which really puzzles me is if HubPages knew it was taking on Squidoo why it didn't at least get the 'old' HubPages onto new servers before migrating the Squidoo lenses over?  Then they could go straight to the new servers

    Or did they migrate more than they expected - and hence needed new servers?

    Very puzzling!

    Mind you the best laid plans....... and all that!

      I wondered why they didn't get the new server problem fixed first too. It seems they were in a big rush to get the Squidoo lenses over.

    It's good to know that I'm not the only one experiencing this problem. I've been worried and hesitant on posting a new hub because it will be such a waste if the stats won't be counted/collected. Glad to have found this forum.

    My Stats are still refreshing at long intervals! right now I can see stats from 29 hours ago.
