What does it mean when you post a comment, and it doesn't show up in the general hubtivity list, although it does show up on your own personal hubtivity list on your profile?
It means you don't have "comments - you made" checked in your hubtivity preferences.
No Paul, I am afraid it means a bug ![]()
I see this time to time too, some particular comments just do not show up, while most of them do, and no changes in the settings ![]()
Misha -- you also don't have "comments - you made" checked in your hubtivity preferences.
There may also be a bug, but that's the obvious answer. If you check that box, and then can provide a specific example of a comment that you made, that is approved by the author and is on a published hub, yet doesn't appear in your hubtivity, I'll be happy to look into it.
LOL I did not look if I had it checked, but this promotes another question immediately - if it is unchecked on my profile, why do I usually see my comments?
They probably meet one of the other criteria that you do have checked. For instance:
- on hubs that you wrote
- on hubs that you commented on (which only includes comments after your comment for a finite period of time)
I changed my setting as per your suggestion. Then I noticed that one of the comments I made today did not make it to my "comments you made" list on "my account." So I went back to my hubtivity on my profile, and I clicked on it, and I got the message: Page could not be found.
Here's the URL:

Ummm, makes sense. Ok, I have it checked now, and if I get it misbehaving again, I'll let you know right away ![]()
My problem today is that I can't see ANY of the general Hubtivity. When I click on it, it says that the page is down. Has anyone else experienced this?

I posted a comment on another Hubber's hub 2 days ago, and just now, when I checked my Hubtivity, right at the top was the notification I had posted a comment on that hub 71 minutes ago. I knew I hadn't, so went back to the person's hub, and saw my original comment showing as 2 days ago, but the...

Pretty much like one would have it on a blog - with the difference that I am talking about hubtivity here.I had posted a single comment to one of the hubs a while ago. I am not too interested in the topic, just wanted to share my experience and forget. Well, the thing is - for many months this hub...

Hey yo! Sometimes when there is a really good hub conversation going on it cloggs up my hubivity report. For example, if one or two people are commenting back and forth I can't find anything else but thier comments. How can I clear this up so that I can see what others are...

I still use the old Hubtivity to check what is going on on HP.http://hubpages.com/hubtivity/allThis morning, I saw there was a comment on one of my hubs from an unregistered user (Luis Diaz) on the hub about how to change language settings on Youtube. But when I went and clicked on the comment, it...

A way to filter out hubtivity showing someone using one of those programs that just joins the fan clubs willy nilly? It's annoying. Better yet, outlaw it. It makes that persons membership in your fan club meaningless, as well as make their own fan base meaningless. They...
