What have you done to optimize your hubs to improve your search engine traffic?

Still not sure if it would be helpful on a site that Google deems to be a content farm, although each of our accounts are subdomains a should stand on their own merit.

I attempt to try my best to improve my traffic and increase my earnings of Google Adsense, but it seems that I can still earn only a little per day. Do you have any tip and suggestion on how to get more traffic for your hubs at Hubpages?

With the recent google algorithm change, i noticed that hubbers who have spent 4 - 5 years are those having their subdomain slammed by google. Why?
