I got through the Boot Camp. My first 5 hubs all featured. Should I apply for Google Ad sense account now or wait till I complete 10 hubs?
Hi Manasi,
Congrats on finishing Boot Camp! We recommend waiting until you have at least 15-20 high-quality Featured Hubs before applying to AdSense. Sadly, Google has become more strict recently with AdSense acceptance.
Ok. Thanks a lot. But do I have to wait for 6 months for the same, as advised by other hubbers in the comments?
Hi Manasi,
Yes, if you live in India, you will need to wait 6 months as well. AdSense has different time restrictions depending on what country you are located in.
He has to publish 20 to 30 Hubs, and THEN wait six months before applying:

Thanks for clarifying, WF! I probably should have worded that explanation a little better.
I think it would be a good idea to update the info in the Learning Center, too, because it is really sad when people apply to soon and get rejected.
Manasi, because you are living in India, you will need to publish 20 - 30 Hubs, THEN wait six months, before applying for AdSense. This is a Google AdSense rule and there is nothing HP can do to change this. This rule applies to several other countries, as well. In the meantime, you can earn from Amazon, eBay and other affiliates if you have accounts with them.
I have 27 featured hubs right now and tried to get accepted to AdSense last week and was rejected. I live in the United States, but had only been a HP member for 2 weeks when I applied.
How long would people recommend to wait before applying again?
You're welcome. I'm sure you will be approved next time.
Didn't know that google became so strict. Back in 2009 I think when I applied they easily accepted it. And I applied with just created website with no traffic at all.

Hi everyone,I'm a relatively new Hubber - I've published 4 so far. I plan on having 10-12 good hubs up and running before I apply. My question is what, if any, methods of driving traffic to my hubs would be recommended. I don't want to increase my traffic in a way that jeopardizes my...

When I joined HP, I applied right away for AdSense and Amazon and got accepted without a hitch, but I think things have changed since then and am wondering what's the current opinion on when a new hubber should apply for AdSense? I ask because someone I know has signed up via my tracker and...

Hi, I am new to HubPages (been here just three days) and I wonder when I could apply for an AdSense account. The official sources on HubPages advise to have at least 10 Hubs posted and wait a month - but is it really necessary to wait so long? I have already published 6 hubs with the 7th underway...

Hi Everyone! I have just joined Hub Pages 10 days ago and I have one hub published. My question to all of those experienced hubbers that is my hub score good enough to get an AdSense account? I have a 61 score and my hub page score is 74 right now. How many more hubs I should have before...

Would you think I must apply now for adsense? I have almost 35 hubs, is it okay now? I have read some forum that they got approved without the 6 month thingy. Some got approved in 3 weeks.
