I have a challenge to edit my Hubs in a manner that Google Adsense can appreciate. I am not sure where I am going wrong, and would like to get this situation cleared up, so I can start publishing successful hubs.
i edit my old hubs especially those that are unfeatured . Then I press edit done and post the link to share medias. Views picked up
You have no hubs posted, so how do you know you have a problem? Also, I looked at your profile and found three grammatical errors...if you want approval, you must write correctly!
Edit Your Hub to improve it overall and not just for adsense.

If I want to edit a published, featured hub (adding a picture, editing a few words, or adding an amazon link), will it go back to pending status (where no ads are shown) until it is reviewed by the moderators? Or will it not affect it at all?

Lately, I have had 11 hubs unfeatured due to Quality Issues. I have assured my hubs do not contain grammatical or spelling errors. I have included relevant video and changed the titles and added new supporting texts and all this to no avail. The HubPages Staff continues to deem my hubs do not...

They are childish and stupid. There did I say it strong enough. I got 1400 word hubs with every addition. Photos, Videos and polls. Do you work on your "unfeatured" hubs to improve them? Or let them stay unfeatured?On your hub list, when you see the message "This hub is not featured because it doesn't receive sufficient engagement" next to one of your hubs, are you likely to revamp the hub to try to get it...
