I am using my own Amazon account on Hubs, but my hits are way down from last year (as a percent of traffic). (I am still converting at the same rate). I am thinking about switching to the HUB Amazon program. Two questions:
1) Is there any lag time while I am switching where I get no pay, or is it instant from when they do it?
2) I used mostly the amazon module, but a few are coded in text. Will I still get paid for sales from those if I switch?
If you switch, only the capsules will display the HubPages code. There is no lag time.
Bear in mind that you are not telling Amazon that you're switching accounts. You're just choosing to use a sub-account of HubPages' Amazon account instead of your own. So your personal account will still exist and you'll go on earning from any text links you've inserted, and from any links on other websites.
You have to wait two months to receive your Amazon earnings through the Hub program if that is what you mean on a wait time.

I am okay at writing and can go way more in depth then I have, however I am not sure it is necessary to have a good profitable hub. I only do things that are fun to me, but I was just wondering about a couple things.1.) I am suggesting links using the suggested links in hubpages, now I knows its...

I'm a bit behind the ball having been absent for a bit and my Amazon earnings have gone way down as a result, so I'm considering switching to the HP Amazon Program and am wondering if in fact most Hubbers are earning more from the HubPages Amazon Program, as it states. I believe when this came out...

Hi all. I have set up Amazon Affiliate program on hubpages and featured Amazon products on a number of my hubs. Looking at it after a while, the link-type report in the Amazon account shows that no one has clicked on the products so far. I wanted to know whether this actually works, so I clicked on...
