Hi Annalene, If you go into your account there you will see the affiliate settings,ie:- Google , Amazon, Ebay, enter your id in the appropriate area and save and thats it. not sure about the html code I'm sure someone will be able to help you with that shortly.
All advertising, is handled by hubpages when your account is set you will get your share of revenue, you cannot add the google search bar to your pages, hubpages places the ads relevant to your work, whether they be ebay or google ads they will be placed for you although with ebay you can add more.....jimmy
