I know that we can have a comment box or not. But I think it would be nice to have the ability to leave a comment box, but have the option to stop taking future comments. It may sound silly, but on many of my hubs, I keep getting the same questions over and over again that I've answered already either in the hub or in the comments section. I don't want to remove the comments box altogether, but I hate to continue answering the same question. I could easily delete the comment, but I find that rude. And, I guess not allowing them to comment can be considered rude, but if they can't comment maybe they'll read the comments and find they're answer.
Just a thought...
Hi Whitney05. Pretty frustrating I can imagine!
You could always add a little write up at the comments capsule and state that any comments already asked will not be answered or something along those lines but still let people comment, but if they have repeated a question already, then just dont allow comment!! I dont think this would be rude at all!.

Not Replying to comments ....Is it rude not to?Does it upset anyone else that when you leave comments on someones hub and they reply to almost all of the comments. But they never reply to your comments no matter how many hubs of theirs you comment on?

Have you encountered a not-so-friendly hubber? How did you deal with him/her?I know there are a lot of awesome people here. But there are still times when we encounter hubbers who are a bit rude. What's your experience?
