I have been on HubPages for several years, but have not been active on here lately. Apparently, I got a notice that one my hubs that took a lot of work to publish was copied. Detected at end of Nov. 2014. Someone copied the words, pictures, videos -- everything! I am extremely mad! And their page has got over hundreds of facebook likes AND IT IS NOT THEIRS!!!!
This website stole it www dot loss-weight dot us
How do I file a DMCA complaint? This article used to perform a lot better; perhaps it's not performing as well because someone else is using my content -- guess my hub was really good
I am outraged! So many corrupt people in this world!
I appreciate any help my fellow hubbers!
The website is hosted by Google. File the DMCA through Google and they will remove it: https://support.google.com/legal/troubl … 14905?rd=1
Specifically, you need to select the Blogger/Blogspot option to direct it towards that service.
I don't understand this part. Is it asking to provide the URL of my article?
Your Copyrighted Work
(For example, “The photographs of the black widow spider with red spots and that of the black labrador retriever which can be viewed at the URL below” or “My published book, “Touch Not This Cat”, is infringed by the text excerpted on the site, beginning with the text ‘I came home to find my cat sitting on the kitchen counter.’”)
Where can we see an authorized example of the work?
When I file DMCA on here it says "Unfortunately, we do not yet have DMCA information stored for loss-weight.us. If you are able to locate a DMCA instructions URL or an email contact for that site please let us know, we will add them to our database."
Use http://www.whoishostingthis.com/ to find the host of the site and report it to them. If that doesn't work report it to Google. Welcome to the club. I have so many copied that it is sick. Some I've been able to take care of and others from foreign countries I haven't.

I saw on my account page that at least three of my Hubs were copied and published on other sites - Slideshare, Blogspot and a Turkish site called Ozeldersin. I've never had this happen before (although I knew it was only a matter of time) but how do I take action about this? I see on the top of my...

How interesting. Run a google search for my Hub on Poulan 3416 chain saws, and see someone else's face, and the name Robert Cheney listed as the author. It had already been taken down by that website <link snipped>, so that is nice, but I'll be keeping a watch out. And be Googling my other...

I realized today that one of my hubs has been copied and re-published on two different websites. I was looking at my Google Analytics and noticed someone had searched on a complete sentence or two from one of my hubs. When I searched the sentence on Google myself I saw the other websites that...

Has this happened to anyone else? My hub was flagged as duplicate content because someone on wordpress copied and pasted the hub I wrote into their blog.So frustrated! I hope this isn't a common occurrence. I am shocked that it happened to my first hub ever.

I'm so angry. Today I got the little red circled C warning me my content was stolen. A quick scan in the plaguirism checker showed that someone had copied one of my game guides word for word onto their site. Do they not realise that just adding "Source: (link to the LevelSkip article) doesn't...
