This is an awesome list of resources for online writers. Whether you're new to the online writing scene or an old hand looking to improve, it's worth a browse.
The 51 Greatest Articles About Writing I've Ever Read
Can we do anything about the big problem? I mean really, ethics preclude my posting any new hubs on this account; you know why.
If you mean the referral, there is nothing HubPages can do, though you can always transfer your Hubs to another account and/or only write new Hubs on a different account.
You do know I love you. Please kill the author-referral aspect. Stop throwing that money away.
If you want another thread about this maybe you should start one rather than hijacking threads (trying to be) about other subjects. Or maybe just open a new account with no referral credited to it.
Those of us who haven't read every post on every forum, have no idea what the referral references are on about. I'm guessing you can't use your referral link to link to another of your own hubs?
If you called a new account paradigmsearches (or paradigmraisesmiddlefinger) we'd all be able to find you. Of course that doesn't help with your search engine traffic though, does it? Would be a lot of hassle to have to relocate all your hubs to a different account, but it is understandable that you want to protest.
It would seem appropriate to have a penalty in place for anyone who betrays a hubber in the way you were. If there wasn't a penalty then, I hope there is one now.
It is indeed untenable that this kind of person makes money from my work. It truly does destroy all the joy. If only HP would see the light as to the obsoleteness of the author referral program and get rid of it.
I'll continue to remind them every once in awhile as to the unnecessary money they are throwing away every day.
Meanwhile, back on topic. It is indeed an awesome list.
And this concludes my rant for January. See you in February, probably this very thread. Or not. Who knows?
My point was that I kind of want to avoid discussing your issue and wish to take part in unrelated threads, thanks.
You are wrong here. I thought friend. I am sorry.
I don't think we are friends or not friends--I am just making a suggestion re: threadjacking which is generally considered less than polite.
We really not friends?
We have so much to play.
I know there are still a lot of hard feelings among online writers after Squidoo folded, but I think that particular post offers some good insights into the motivations of bloggers and writers. Of course, that's just my personal opinion-- take it (and the article) with a grain of salt.
So how is the young person living? Any thought as to the other?
I read through a bunch of those articles on the list, Christy. Some made perfectly good sense and were helpful, but others left me thinking I come from a different planet. I have bookmarked a couple.
Thanks for providing food for thought.

I can't seem to find an answer for this in the learning center. I have a large set of articles I've been writing for a while + some time on my hands to dedicate to Hubpages for the next couple of months. Would publishing 10 hubs a day benefit or disadvantage me, both in terms of hub score /...

Hi. I have been a member for 14 years and have recently come back after about 8 years away. A lot of my hubs are pretty poor especially after being left for so long. Should i start a new account or just delete all the rubbish ones and continue creating content. Thanks

Hi its Louise again, I was wondering if anyone knew how to edit your hubs so that they can be featured and how often you edit them. I am trying to make blogging into a part time job or full time job but don't know how to get paid doing so and I am a horrible editor of my own stuff. ...

I have created a pitiful 29 hubs in four years. But I'm a lot more active on facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google Search. You people MUST LIVE ON HERE! How in the world do you find subjects for crying out loud? You must be just writing for writing sake. In order to write something, I have to FEEL IT,...

Since I finished the apprenticeship, and after umpteen updates and changes made on HP, my traffic has never picked up. I can't remember the last time I saw any more than 40 views a day. My average at the moment is more like 30. The articles I worked long and hard to produce, sit there doing nothing...
