I think this is going to be a big next two weeks for Google updates.   I think this may actually be a pretty significant announcement because is changes how people read the serps and decide what to click on influenced by the sites hierarchy.

We are going to look at how HubPages EC Hubs and subdomains get displayed and see if we need to make adjustments once it's fully rolled out.

Presumably this is connected to the Google email sent two days ago to all Google AdSense account holders which starts

    "Is your site mobile-friendly?
Starting 21 April, Google Search will be expanding its use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. Double-check [yourURLs] and your other sites are ready for this change by testing pages of your site with the Mobile-Friendly Test tool."?
