A Chat Room For Hubbers

   I'd like to see Hubpages set up a chatroom for hubbers.  I know it might hurt ratings for some people when their hub gets hijacked...but here's what I think.  We all like to chat with one another, and hijacking someone's hub happens from frustration at not having an open chat room.  I would like to have spontaneous chat with fellow hubbers without having to chase down comments all over hubpages.  Now I realize this would hurt traffic counts, but I believe the spontaneous exchange of ideas would be worth the reduced traffic.  The dark side of this idea is that it's addictive and would keep some of us up waaaaaaaay past our bedtimes.

      I appreciate the plug WC, but I don't think many are interested in chatting. Tried it all before and it was good for a few weeks, but it eventually died.

   We were on one last night R.Blue where have you been? It was nice to chat although the conversations went so quickly. I have been on one of those since they first came out and after seeing what everyone was discussing was quite hilarious to say the least.

         I enjoyed it although the conversation went quickly, it was nice to just hang out for a little bit and took us away for awhile.

      I think time zones may be a problem.....I couldn't find you guys and went to bed bored....Sorry I missed it...whose hub got Jacked?  The Hubjacking seems a bit slow and awkward to me... I like quick witty one liners.....like GT saying...I'm a virgin.....funny stuff.....LMAO

            Thats what I'm talking about JJ....and you're one of my favorite naughties....It's hard for me to keep up though when everyone's jumping all around to different hubs...I wish we had our own chat room...help me figure this out.

   I think I'll try to find a webpage for DalNet to enable people to jump into an IRC channel. I'll be happy to register one on that server...not sure if I should use the HubPages name in the channel though.

   Its on IRC. The server is DALnet. You need an application to get into this, and you can find a list of apps here: http://www.dal.net/?page=IRC%20Clients
