Hello, I'd like some help with passing the Quality Assessment Process. Will you please give feedback on my Hub The Best Badminton Sets. It is a product hub, but I think it does have a good text to link ratio. This hub was getting traffic and sales, but now it is not featured because it doesn't meet quality standards. Any suggestions? I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Faye

Paring the list of products and increasing the word-to-product ratio might work.  When I read it I didn't get the impression that you actually own and use any of these products.

Like most people, if I wanted to look at a variety of badminton sets to find the one that best fit my needs, I would go directly to Amazon and browse there.  What does your hub offer that I can't find on the Amazon site?  Even if you argue that yours is a carefully curated list, you should know that Amazon has curated lists as well.   Do you have special expertise in badminton that would make your list more authoritative?

No, I'm not an expert. In fact, I stated that the sets are the ones with top rankings on Amazon. I have never owned any of these products, but I have owned badminton sets and played it many times.

However, some people are somehow finding my list before making their purchase, and using my links to shop.

Are you saying, this is really not Hub Page material, and I should just delete it?

As a ex Squidoo I have found it is best not to have more than two (at the most) amazon products. Mine never got through the QAS until I deleted them, even though I had lots of text, don't delete your hub.
Try changing your AllPoster photo at the top first, as I found they don't seem to be excepted on HubPages.
All the best, it hasn't been fun trying to fit in writing here, but with perseverance I think I can make.cool

Hello Elsie, thanks so much for your encouragement and suggestions. I'll try both. Yes, HubPages is much different than Squidoo. I miss it.

HubPages decided they don't like these kinds of pages anymore unless there is really some added value that you can't find on the vendor's site itself. For example, author expertise or having extensively used the product.

If your article is just summarizing a subset of the top-rated badminton sets on Amazon, that doesn't add enough value for HP because anyone can go to Amazon and sort the results by rating and other filters.

Were it me, I would pick one or two sets and write a really in-depth product review as if I owned them to give it the appearance of authenticity that HP likes.  Or I would put the affiliate pages on my own sites to avoid jumping through all of HP's hoops.  Best of luck to you.

calculus-geometry, thanks so much for your information and help. I've tried taking off some sets, which didn't work. Today, I will take your advice and do some re-writing. I do understand about HubPages, and don't fault them for it. Happy July 4th!!

Ok, I've completely changed the hub, but still does not pass muster. I admit, there really needs to be more information, but  I really don't have it. I guess this one will have to go. http://fayerutledge.hubpages.com/hub/th … inton-sets
