Does the length of a video in a hub make a difference? How long is too long? Does watching a video really add value to a hub? If a video is watched does that add to the length of time on a page seen at Google Analytics? Have you ever polled a video?
If the reader stays on your article while watching the video, then yes, it does increase view duration if they watch the whole video. I wouldn't worry about embedding a really long one. If a reader doesn't want to watch the whole thing then they won't.
If the video is long and you've watched it all the way through, you can suggest time points worth watching so the reader can skip around to the more interesting parts.
