My hub has been dinged as having too many affiliate links or lead capture pages in it, but there are none other than Amazon. I have other hubs that have Amazon links, but they don't get dinged. Any advice? Who should I talk to?
Amazon capsules are considered affiliate links, so if you have what HP deems "too many" then you will see the auto-generated affiliate link warning.
Unfortunately you can also get the warning if you link to legit pages with more information and those pages happen to sell stuff. For example, if you link to a page on a Zappos to better describe a type of shoe, even if you are not a Zappos affiliate.
HubPages seems to have a habit of assuming that if you link to certain sites known to have an associate scheme that you must be an associate even if you're not and never have been.
I could find neither rhyme nor reason in a filter system that can't tell the difference between a link and an associate link.

My understanding was that we are allowed to put affiliate links in our Hubs occasionally, if they add value for the reader and if they're to reputable sites. Has that changed?I have just had an affiliate link...

I've seen some hubs with affiliate links on them... such as from Commission Junction. Is there a HubPages policy on using these types of links?
