I'm having issues with the link for my most recent hub.
If I copy and paste the link into a search bar, it does indeed to go my hub, but when I pasted it onto Facebook to share with my friends, the image and hub description that came up were not for my hub.
Interestingly enough, if you click on the link, the picture, or the description on Facebook it still takes you to my hub, but I want my own hub's image and description to show on Facebook rather than this other random one.
I've never had an issue like this before, and I'm wondering if anyone knows how to fix this issue.
It sounds like you may be trying to share a Hub before it has passed the QAP and is featured.
There is info in the FAQ here.

Thanks! I think that's exactly what happened.
The FAQ I linked above has this information as well, but if this occurs, you can force a recheck of the URL here.

But only the 'front page' so to speak. when it was clicked on my hub came up. But being completely puzzled I copied the false page...

I've never had a hub go viral, so I have no idea what I'm talking about. All that qualifies me is that I regularly share and read "viral" material. As we look at alternatives to Google for traffic, some ideas are stewing in my head. This is what I think it takes for a...

Is there a way of knowing if a hub has been shared on Facebook?

Do you read hubs that are shared by hubbers who often 'share' their own hubs?Just wondering what your thoughts are ....by often I mean, several times a day or several times a week....

I've already mentioned this point in the new design topic; but, it may have gone unnoticed. Since we do have a lot of blank space on the left corner of the page why not add sharing buttons on the left rather than on the top? When you read something would you know if its good before actually reading...
