I wrote this new hub with all the things I learned so far about what Hubpages wants. I may not have attained the Holy Grail of making the right kind of hub. Couldn't resist putting in more than a couple links (none go to anything of mine). And I added an eBay capsule which I had weeded out of almost all my other hubs.
Give a look and tell me what you think. It hasn't gone into QAP yet ( it is VERY new)
First sentence is not quite right... "Considered one of the oldest folk arts, Hungarians..."
It should read, "Considered one of the oldest folk arts, needlework..."
'Hungarians' aren't folk art I think that whole sentence could be reworked. Your opening words are so important.
I haven't read through the rest, but you pretty much answer your own problem - take the eBay & Amazon capsules out, and the links. Republish the hub without them. Then try adding them back in one by one over a couple of weeks.
Thanks for the input- I spent some time editing, including making what I hope are smoother transitions between the info. I appreciate the time spent on giving helpful critique
The hub has a lot of nice material but I would suggest focussing on having a more logical, linear progression from beginning to end. Then say at the beginning what topic you will cover. To me it comes across as a bit scattered and wandering, so I never know what the next section will be about.

I think I know something about writing articles. I created a new hub yesterday. HubPages took 24 hours before declaring, in one of their mystery messages, that it was of sufficient quality. You know what? It was too good. I deleted it and will now easily place it elsewhere and earn with it.No...

I thought if a hubpage was listed in Google search it was featured. But apparently that is not the truth. I guess I will keep the hubs up and run my own check on them.

I know that you can choose to display your idle hubs on your profile page, but I don't, because I don't want Google to see them at all and get confused by all those "do not follow." What this means is that my idle hubs are not available for anyone to see, and I have to actively...

In fact, I wonder. I was a hub which titled "Losing Weight Phases" http://amrelnawawy.hubpages.com/hub/Los … ght-Phasesand it was featured before. But I had a problem with its URL, it wasn't SEO optimized. So, I deleted the old hub and created a new one with the same previous...

I am being challenged. I have been having a problem getting a new hub to be featured. It has gone through QAP three times already. It is a new day, and I am feeling up to the challenge once again. Rested and refreshed after a good nights sleep, with a hopeful heart. So! Now, the hub will be going...
