I have a suggesting regarding a picture capsule - how about adding a few editing options in there?
Whenever I want to put a pic into the hub, I have to run it through a photo editing software, even if it's a small change I'm looking for. If I'm using a lot of pics, that's very time-consuming.
Editing options can be simple: like crop, brightness and color saturation - that's usually all you need to make your pictures pop. We can edit text, why not edit pictures, too?
It's a good suggestion. I support it. Most of us experience these problems in editing our images. It would be better if Hubpages consider this suggestion and help us in making our picture capsules most appealing.
While it would certainly be more convenient, we simply don't have the extra engineering resources for something like this when there are already free photo editing options available many places online.
Ok, I understand. Maybe it'll be something you might consider in the future. Thanks for replying!
Thanks for the response. What options available are better and safe? I would like to know. I used to use photobucket. But it has become very risky now to log into it. Thanks.
The annoying problem I've had a few times, is having a photo show up rotated sideways, when it was NOT shot in that orientation.
OR, alternately, it WAS shot that way, but rotated in Photoshop, and then, when uploaded, reverts to the original, without noticing my edit.
In both cases, I've struggled to fix, and ultimately just deleted and not used that photo.
(and don't ask me to identify the articles on which that happened--it was too far back, and I don't remember)

When I add pictures to my hubs in an effort to improve them, they are huge! I don't see a way to change the size. We used to have Full, Half, and Quarter. What are we supposed to do now? I notice they get smaller if I put them to the right side of the hub, but that isn't where I always want them....

Yesterday and today I've been having issues with both pictures links and uploading from my computer. It will in the edit screen, but when saved unpublished or even published, the picture disappears. If you have a caption, the caption shows in the regular field and in regular sized text where the...

For a hub I haven't yet published, I've noticed that clicking the "done editing" button doesn't seem to work. Other capsules work fine, and I exited and reopened the hub, but the issue persists.Hmm, anyone else having a similar problem?

There seems to be a problem with the picture capsule. After uploading one of my pictures, image size 'full width' will only go to a maximum of 'half width', although the 'full width' option has been used. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I like the fact that pictures can be right aligned, but we can't align them side by side. I have tried this and all it will do is leave empty space to the left and pile them one atop the other. Is there any possibility the placement of pictures could be enhanced to give more flexibility?

I pasted some text in my Equal Temperament hub that contained numbers with indices, rendered in the usual way, as superscript, but in the text capsule they dropped back in-line, so that, for example, (two to the power 1-over-twelve) appeared as 21/12. I got round it by using the in-line notation,...
