How do I add "Follow" button on profile page

   This is not so much for discussion, rather, I need an immediate help from any experienced Hubbers. I am a new member and have just posted my first Hub. I am ready to share with friends, but there is no Follow button on my profile page. Instead I see Edit Profile where Follow button should be. I finished editing my profile and saved it. Would anyone please help me? I don't want to lose my followers.

      Don't worry, there is a follow button on your profile page.

   Thank you for your reply. Sadly and frustratingly, I still don't see the button. My friend also tries to see from his computer, and still no Follow button on my profile page. How could this be? I sent a question but they don't answer, that's why I asked for help from the community. Thank you anyway.

      As Millionaire Tips stated- there is a follow button on your profile.  It's a green button under your profile picture as clear as day.  You already have a follower- so we know it's working.

   You can't see the follow button because you can't follow yourself.

   Yes, you have a "follow" button. I just checked your hub. It is above your number of published hubs, followers etc. you can't see your own follow button, as has already been said. Welcome to HubPages.

      Thank you. Jodah. Now I understand that why I don't see the button. There is another mystery. My friends cannot see the button either when they see my post in their own computers. After lots of thinking, I am concluding that the follow feature is for Hubbers only; in order for my friends to follow me, they have to become a Hubber whether they write their Hub or not. Do you think this is right?

   Yukiko, do you mean how do you add "Follow me also on..." buttons?  If so, go into your profile, edit profile then scroll down to Links. There are several boxes there for Facebook, Twitter, etc. Enter the links to your media sites and those buttons will show up on your profile.

      Thank you, Phyllis. It was not what I was originally looking for. But, I learned something from your advice, and it prompted me to change my web address. Thank you! I think I now know why I and my friends could not see the button. ;-)

   It's right there.  And as "following" is a Hub Account feature, it is true that people who do not have accounts or are not signed into them will not see it.

   My goodness - you are most welcome, Yukiko. This is a great community and a sense of humor is always a good thing to have. Just be careful not to call HubPages a blog site, for it is not, and some hubbers will get upset over that. Ha ha ha. It is a writing site or content site where we write articles.   So glad you are part of the site and having fun.
