Happy Tuesday, friends! Today marks the launch of our latest HubPages Network Site, Soapboxie, a site about political and social issues. Please feel free to take a look.
Clever title, and, IMO, the first one that immediately tells folks what they will find on the site.
I have an article in Soapboxie. I received e-mail that my article was snipped. Thank you, HubPages.
Cheers great hubs, just done this one you might be interested in!
Squash. Rant. Dork.
That aside, quite frankly I am afraid.
The name is deceiving. I thought it to be for cosmetics, makeup, and grooming. But, it turned out to be for political and social issues. But, the articles in it are very great.
Hmm. An Americanism that didn't translate well. A soap box is something set into a public place than can be climbed up on in order to harangue a crowd from a small height.
Yes, Ven, wilderness is correct in his explanation, albeit humorous. It's a well-known term mostly referring to one who passionately rants on and on about issues close to his own heart. So this niche title is quite appropriate . . . and funny.
Thanks for all the hard work you folks are doing. I've been pretty pleased with it all.
Love the name!! I have no "Soapboxie" hubs, but that is a great website name.
I apologise, but this my thought, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YQM_zfYO7Q
