I tried to leave fanmail both yesterday and today but could not. Instead, I get the message, "You don't have fanmail." Anyone else having this issue?

      @The Dirt Farmer,
Now that's a new one on me. All of the fan mail that I have
ever received were from people who chose to follow
      me.
Keep me posted on what HP says about this.

I tried to leave it to someone who had just followed me. Then tried to leave it again the next day.

          @ The Dirt Farmer,
You are talking about the spot on your regular email that notifies you of a New Follower and when they leave you Fan Mail, right?
If you have notified Team Hubpages in the Help Section, try restarting your PC after you refresh it if it will refresh, then restart it.
Sounds a lot like your browser. Do you use Internet Explorer?
I do. But not in publishing hubs and photos. My IE used to freeze up everytime I would get to the middle of the photos I was using.
I would though start using Firefox.
          Hope this helped some.

Why don't you email the HubPages team about this?
      Here is their email address:

Well, when I went to the contact HP section, posting to the forum was suggested.

Fanmail must be approved by the author in order to show up on his/her profile. It's possible that this person simply hasn't seen your fanmail and approved it yet.

Thanks for the response, Christy. I left fan mail today and think it worked.

It wasn't that I couldn't see the fanmail I posted-- you never do--, it was that I got a weird pop-up message that indicated it had not been submitted.

But, no worries. With Trump firing off EOs like a dictator, I have more important things to worry about.

        Thanks again.

Ah, I see! Often refreshing the page will fix that error, which can be caused by a temporarily slow internet connection. Glad it finally worked!

@Christy, I know this may be out of order to leave (this)
comment at this place, but I just want to say thank you
for your wisdom and help with this and all other issues
        we have met with HP.
We love and appreciate YOU <3

When you follow someone a seperate box usually pops up for you to leave fan mail or  tick good writer, your funny, great hubs etc. Didn't that happen? Failing that you can click "fan mail" on the other person's profile and it gives you the option of sending them an email message. You could do it that way but it wouldn't show up in their fan mail.

      Hi Jodah,
Yes, the box popped up, but then I got the error message I described above. If no one else is having this issue, perhaps it is my browser, although . . . I would have thought I'd have difficulty getting any popup on HP.
      Thanks for your help, Jodah.
