Twitter?

   So I went from following seven people and having nine followers to... Following two people and having one follower. All of my updates (mine, I mean) are gone. I have several pages full of just Shirley Anderson's Updates (which is fine, but strange, as I this is the *first* time I've seen updates from her!) and nobody else is there any more.
   
   I had an add this morning. I clicked the profile link and I'm getting a page not found. Is anybody else having twitter problems?

   Really??  If I'd know that I was going to be a Twitter star, I'd have done something more interesting.

   LOL Shirley! All of my updates except for the most recent one have disappeared! AEvans is also still on my list but that's it! Oddly, I don't think the two of you were showing up before. I'm wondering if I don't somehow have two accounts, but if that was so, I'd have to have an e-mail account that doesn't exist

   I wonder if everybody just left my list? It's strange, because frogdropping added me this morning and she isn't showing up. Like, no profile!

   'lo EM. Yep, I added you. I dunno if you're visible though. Let me go have a look - I haven't been on for a little while cos I forgot my password. Instead of just asking for a link etc - I was stubborn and determined to rememeber it in my own good time

   Well, I can see you from my 'following' page.
   
   I clicked on you - obviously because I'd added you earlier. yet, when I got to your profile, it said 'follow MyTrueMiracle'. Weird. So I clicked the follow button again.
   
   And yes, you had 2 following, 1 follower.
   
   I take it that your account is still messed up?

    Ditto here, when I click on your link I go to your profile page and it says that you are following 2 and have 2 followers.

    frogdropping, it came in as a different profile. I just assumed it was you, because, well, you have a unique name. It was frogdropper. Profile didn't exist according to twitter. Very strange.
    
    My guess is that there is something messed up with my profile! My picture was gone this morning too!

    I'm going to check it out right now and find out what on earth happened. That is so strange! I hadn't tweeted that much either, so I doubt I was marked as spam!

    That might account for it, Aniketgore.  I don't know much about this stuff...why would anyone want to hack a free Twitter account?

       Their was a news 6-7 days back that several accounts were hacked.
       
       And the reason exact i dont know but after all its a personal account and can damage once social life. Can also be used for publishing owns contents.

    My brother has about 120k followers but no fun. Few days ago I got Ashton Kutcher to give me a tweet and I was only able to get about 20k readers.

    My Twitter seems to be working fine too.  I just signed up for an account 2 nights ago and already have close to 50 followers.  I thought it would be a good way to start marketing some articles and I am getting a few hits originating from my tweets. I found tweetlater.com and twollow.com are great sites to set up automatic following and find followers.
