Edit links

    Hi All,

I sincerely apologize, if this question was already asked, but there were 2500 search results for "edit link", so I had to start a thread.

I wrote an article a week or so ago, but for reasons that were probably my fault, the link contained words irrelevant to the article.

I vaguely remember reading that once your link is established, you cannot edit it.

Is this true? If not, can someone tell me how to do it.

    Thanking you in advance,
    Danny

Is it an inline link or in a Link capsule?

If it's the first, simply edit the text capsule by deleting the anchor text and link, and replacing.

If in a link capsule, I think there's a small red x to the right of link to delete it.

To answer your question properly, there's nothing that can't deleted or replaced in a hub.

        Thanks for your speedy reply.
        Maybe I misspoke
I want to change the the URL for my article.
It's not a link for a specific capsule.
For example...my article is about pets.
        The URL is https://hubpages.com/relationships/Onli … ous-People
When I try to edit the above, using the topic window, it doesn't change the url.

Unfortunately, a URL can't be changed.

Since it's a new article, consider deleting it. Wait a couple of days or so, and republish it with the appropriate URL

                I appreciate it.
That was my next course of action.
Just checking to see if there was a quicker method.
Thank you both for your replies.
