We are not permitted to talk specific earnings here in the forums. It violates the terms of service agreement.

So far when comparing monthly earnings from last year to now, they've been up but it'll be interesting to see if the trends continue.

Last year my views starting climbing rapidly in June and peaked in December, I can only hope to see something similar for these next 6 months.

Thanks for your feedback, Chriswillman90. Sometimes I wonder if it's worth continuing to create hubs, or spend the time on so many other projects and writing projects. I've been weighing the odds. I'll hang in there for a little longer. I may try to spice up my hubs a bit...and still trying to reach 100 hubs...I'll get there.

      I appreciate your input.

I too am unsure whether to write more hubs or just edit the ones that are already doing well. I'm enjoying the passive income right now and only make a few edits from time to time.

The theme for hubs has always been the same, you don't have to write hundreds of hubs to be successful. Out of the 117 hubs that I've written, only 15-20 have done well so it really is about quality over quantity.

Still if your goal is to write an x amount of hubs then that's great too.

You have a good point, Chris. And there are decisions to make...do we reach a goal of X number of hubs just to reach that goal...or do we focus of promoting the 10 or so awesome hubs we may have in our batch.

Good things to ponder over, I appreciate your insight.

I would continue writing. I think being in early part of these niche sites could be a great opportunity for all of us.

      Jesse,

You have a good point too. If the niche sites make it big, we can be part of that. I have to find the time to explore the new offerings with the niche sites and see which of my hubs can be a part of that. Thanks for your feedback.

For about the last four months my average monthly earnings had halved what they were for the previous six months even though my views had dramatically increased. For May, however, my earnings were back up to the previous level.

Thanks Joddah, it seems that everyone is experiencing something different, Even if it's just enough to buy a loaf of bread, at least it's something.

I may try an experiment at this point and try promote a lot one month and then take a break to see if that makes a difference. It's worth a try.

Time to polish up the hubs I have and wax and shine them up!

      Thanks.

I've decided to keep this saying in mind: What goes down has to come back up.

Today I checked my earnings, and it's only a week in for a new month, and already my earnings are higher than all of last month. Now remember that I said May 2017 was low, but now things are improving, so maybe it's coincidence, or maybe it's because I've been on Hubpages a lot the last several days. I'm not sure but it's all good, and I'm glad I reached out to you and see what everything thinks.
