Why are my recent earnings from the ad program "pending"?

I'm not terribly concerned about this, as it's just pennies (lol), but I'm just wondering why earnings from the past 4 days are pending, and if anyone else is experiencing this. Thanks!

My pennies are pending too. I guess we'll just have to wait.

Oh okay, well I'm glad it's not just me! I was beginning to think there was something wrong with my account, or that I'd violated a rule by accident... thanks Made!

I think it is this way for everyone. HubPages probably doesn't have the figures yet. It gets like this every so often.

I'm sure they're working on it! And it is nice to count those pennies as they add up, haha. Bet we'll have the information soon.

Yup. This appears to be a common trend at the moment. You'll probably wake up tomorrow morning and see them sitting there.

Yeah, the other answers are all right. It's just something that seems to happen sometimes. It has happened to me a few times before now, and it always gets worked out eventually. Just give it time.

My guess would be that some of the staff is off on vacation.  I am annoyed too because it would be better to have a consistent accounting system.

It depends on Adsense and Ebay... there are delays from those companies reporting

I think everyone is encountering the earnings being pending issue. It happens from time to time, but usually not this long. At least during my time on here it hasn't. Hopefully they will have it all sorted out by tomorrow.

Hello there Farmer Rachel! Everyone is experiencing "pending" earnings due to the Processing Delays Hubpages is encountering.

This is brought about by the Google Panda Algorithm Update last July 24 (or 25 depending on the timezone).

You may read more about Hubpages Processing Delays here: http://hub.me/adfM8 Just in case you want to understand why it happens. Because, I believe Hubpages is not the one to blame for the delay in this case. smile

It happens at the end of every month.  They're about 4 days behind right now.  I think it has something to do with updating the servers or something.

    Hi Rachel,
I wish I could help you, but they would not let me qualify for any ad pages programs, because they said I had "insufficient content"! They told me to use "more complete sentences"!! Lol! Each of my entries was 500-800 words long, and I used nothing but complex complete sentences, multiple paragraphs, and references to works of literature and music.

It seems the whole Google AdSense universe is very, very weird. I have tried to figure out why they won't take my literary, just-oozing-full-sentences Hubs, but I have yet to get an answer. If it makes you feel any better, I think the whole click-to-click-to-click-yet-again interface of the ad program is tres user-unfriendly.

I really enjoy your hubs, and hope the problem resolves itself soon. (Oh, and if you have any tips on how to get them to accept my hubs--really! I know a full sentence when I see it!--I would greatly appreciate it.)

Thanks, and have a great Monday,

    Amy

Hi Amy! I checked out your hubs again, and I don't really see why Google wouldn't approve you for Adsense. I am by no means an expert, and I didn't have your problem myself, but maybe you could try making your titles more "search engine friendly."
