Hey hubbers!! I've been without power at home since about 2pm Friday, so I haven't been able to get on-- I think I've been having withdrawals!! We had a huge storm and knocked out all the power, luckily my mom got hers back last night so I'm mooching internet time I see there's a hub challenge starting Monday. Anything else I missed?? I feel so out of the loop LOL!
Badco got trollied. All the wimmin love him more than ever. I've been informed I'm pregant, by G|M. Shiba discovered the answer to question on everones lips - "what's it all about?" Cindyvine is busy. She's either packed now or packed up. Religion and politics remain top topics and devolution is a close runner-up. Someone wants a hub writing on cheese and broccoli - thought this would be up your street? You were missed. Presumed At Large. And ... yup. Think that covers the hubgoss
Welcome Back Janetta
Oh - and it's raining.
haha Thanks for the update frogger-- glad to hear things are still the same LOL--here's a question for ya--"I've been informed I'm pregant, by G|M." Does that mean GM told you you were pregnant or GM got you pregnant?!?
Excuse my manners, welcome back and we missed you too
Oh, Janetta, that's awful. Not the being without power, lights, refrigeration, AC, having to make coffee on the BBQ, etc, but no internet!
Just kidding. Glad to hear your mom at least has power. But no, other than the 100 Hubs thing, you haven't missed much (except BadCo, of course), but that's probably because it's Mother's Day in the U.S. and a few other places.
Welcome back! (Somebody please cancel that Missing Person report...)
haha thanks for the welcome back-- I definitely missed the internet. We were sooo bored!!! not a lot to do in the dark at night (hehe, well there are some things...) But, anyway-we had to entertain ourselves which is never good! HAHA We are way too dependent on electricity LOL Thank goodness we have gas stove and water heater Silver lining I suppose...
So we're both pregant then?
Oh and G|M informed me. Nice of him that
LMAO-- if we are, somebody has some 'splainin to do...
OOhhh...he informed you. I thought maybe I had missed out on a whole lot. I turn my back for a second and look what happens-- shiba's become clairvoyant (or just observant) cindyvine's gotten the hell out of dodge, or China (or is still packing somewhere lost in a sea of cardboard never to be heard from again, rumors circulate I'm missing or on the lam, people are questioning broccoli and cheese, BadCo's got all the ladies swooning, and somebody knocked up the frog!
Nothing beats entertaining yourself in the dark, my cabin girl is the most entertained wench on the high seas
You know who else has gone missing is Pest. Anyone hear from him?
Does he live in Southern Illinois? If so, I may have a good idea...
not one single word in a long time
He is alive and well. Many of us have been busy writing. and Cindy you have been busy packing. I guess nobody missed me when I turned up missing lololo
ok all, I'm off again to the house of no power. Hope to be back online again soon cross your fingers that I'll have power by tomorrow!!
Oh yeah--and if you haven't already done so--don't forget to vote for your fave hubnugget wannabe!!
My hub "When a Nieghbor isn't Neighborly" was nominated and I would appreciate your votes!!! Thanks

A storm went through northern California. We were without electricity for six hours. I worked a bit on my Android, and I tried a hotspot for my Chromebook. It was not easy going. What do you do when the electricity goes out, and you need to be online?

Not all of us have the luxury of uninterrupted electricity supply. In this post, I invite creative thinking from people who reside in areas where electricity supply is almost a given. Answer me this:What would you do if there was no power for the entirety of a 24 hours? Some people might be used to...

What's the best way to pass time when the power goes out? After 6 days with no power and no heat, thanks to super-storm Sandy, I finally got electricity back yesterday afternoon. My husband and I passed time by playing UNO and Scrabble and listening to a crank radio. It was pretty...

Just the other day, Earnestshub and I were talking about fellow hubber RockinJoe. RockinJoe came up missing ages ago and many of us missed him. A few of us looked high and low for RockinJoe. Just today I got an email notification that RockinJoe had published a hub. ...

Are You Prepared For A Week Without Power? Many in the northeastern U.S. have gone for days without power due to a heavy fall snowstorm that took down trees and branches onto powerlines. For some it will be a week or longer before they have electricity restored. Are you prepared to live...

I'm really new. I was a teacher for 14 years, was laid off in June and I started journaling to relieve some stress. I have always loved to write, and I got this crazy idea that I should join hubpages to learn from other great writers.I don't care about earning, if it were to happen great, but the...
