Poor Traffic

The traffic has been so disappointing since the end of August and I'm not sure why and how I can fix it.

I tried tweaking the titles and adding new things but that's barely made a difference, traffic should be picking up around this time, not going down.

I even have a featured Google snippet and that hasn't made a difference. The only good thing is CPMs have remained strong.

Has anyone else been experiencing these declines since August-early September?

Traffic has been steady, no big dips or declines, and CPM as you mention is healthy. I write educational hubs mostly so decreases occur from time to time due to vacations and what have you - but I do like to add new hubs say once a week, even twice if I can manage it, into a specialised niche, and this has worked really well over the last 6-8 months. I work hard to try and make each hub really competitive so perhaps you should review all of your hubs over time, check out the competition, and give each one your best shot. Start with your most successful hubs, tweak them, see what the response is. Perhaps this decrease for you is temporary? Hope so. I wish you well.

Chris,  I have 73% of my hubs moved to niche sites already and they are holding the traffic quite well.  HealDove took dive (as it did for all of us) in July but is coming back now.

My remaining hubs on HubPages' home site get very title traffic.

As for you, the only thing I can figure out is that you only have 35 hubs on niche sites. The other 95 can't be getting much traffic since they are on the home site. Have you been proactively submitting your hubs (one every 14 days) to get them moved? That's important.
