Well folks, (Or at least the ones's who know who I am!) a few things have come up which have kinda made me decide to take a bit of a break. Writers block? Mental retardation? Laziness? Stress? Stroke? Heck, I don't really know for sure, maybe it is literary burn out, or perhaps the tractor accident I recently went through while doing some chores out on the ol' farm. (Yes, I am okay except for a couple cracked ribs and some roughed up spots.) However, upon a bit of contimplation, and seeing the tractor laying where I managed to escape from it, I have come to the realization that I am extremely lucky to be here at all.
Plus it is gardening season and there is a tremendous amount of stuff to do. (But take heart for I am reasonably sure some great Gardening Hubs may be spawned this season, including a canning Hub!)
So, please forgive the lack of return comments, and no Hubs for just a bit. But I do promise some good stuff coming as soon as I can sit for a spell again. (Did I mention I also am working as a bartender in a new place that just opened up in our neck of the woods?) Stop in for a cold one sometime if yur in the neighborhood!
Anyway, thanks to all my friends and fans for your comments, and for following my material, and if you are willing to check me out when I return, I promise some great stuff coming and even better pictures! (Once I cure the virus my computer seems to have come down with.)
Till then, see you in the funny papers, and remember,
THATS WHAT WE ALL NEED A MOMENT OF REST.THATS MY THING REST.SO WHILE YOU ARE TAKING A BREAK.TAKE IT EASY. STAY AWAY FROM TOO MUCH HEAVY WORK.BUT IF YOU DO NOT ---------BE SAFE. I'LL READ WHAT YOU PUT OUT.AND BY THE TIME YOU COME BACK.I'LL GET CAUGHT UP ON YOUR OTHER WORK.ENJOYING

I have 65 views but only 3 comments. Is this because my stuff isn't worth commenting on or because most hubbers can't be bothered to comment?I'm new to this so don't know what to expect. Any insight?

I was in class the other day when I overheard two girls talking about staying skinny. One said "I'm terrified of getting fat. I will never get fat. If you get fat, that's like the end of everything." The other one replied "Oh I know! My dad made me promise him that I would never get...

Because it's weird and obscure. But that's ok, I still love HubPages for giving me a platform to write down and share my thoughts. Thank you HubPages.
