On the tool bar where the B(bold) I(italics) you will see a U(underline) highlight the word or words that you want underlined and click the U.
It depends on the writing program you are using. In most plain text editors, you cannot underline at all. In programs such as word processors and composing programs (such as HubPages), you highlight the text you want to underline. Then there is often an icon in the menu bar that can be clicked to underline that highlighted text. Also you can often do the keystroke "ctrl+u". (But not in this Q&A section.)

How do you change a hyperlink URL into ( highlighted )anchor text within the text of a Hub ?(without having to use HTML source code) inside of hubpages text capsules throughout an article so it looks more readthrough rather than being choppy and stopping at highlighted URLS
