Is very big number. I need my calculator. How long of a line would that make if you stack them head to toe?

  11. profile image0

    ok

  12. Cagsil profile image71
    Cagsilposted 15 years ago

Give or take....figure shoe size about a 5 or 6 and multiply by six billion six hundred million, and that's only for an average by the way on the foot size, if you stood people in a straight line, to account for babies(small feet) and those who are 12's or 13's.

Some athletes are even bigger yet. So, I'm just guessing.

You want to stand people on top of one another and see how high it would go up?

Or do you mean that you want to lay each one down on the ground and see how many times you could wrap the population around Earth?

      Hmm....?

Either way, an interesting idea, I'm sure you can find it somewhere online. Access to information, especially strange stuff like can always be found.

Maybe I'll check on it, but would be interesting.

      Oh, okay!

My 2nd wife, Carolyn, and I toured the surprisingly large zoo in her hometown of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, one fine summer day in 1976 (or so).  We got to see a newborn elk calf just as it was first getting to its feet.  But my favorite of the day was a Big Kitty, a humongous male jaguar with a look in his eye that suggested he wasn't convinced humans were all that.

A small family ahead of us, a young father and mother with a son maybe 5 or 6 years old, were just ahead of us.  They peered in at him...and without bothering to get up, that Big Kitty unleashed a stream of urine any Power Ranger would have been proud of.  Splashed ALL over all three of those folks, right through the bars...from a range of a good FIFTEN FEET.  As I was doing my  best to hold in my laughter, I heard the young boy look up at his father and say with obvious admiration,

"He peed on us, didn't he, Daddy?"

That's when I lost it. lol

When it was our turn to pass by his cage, I grinned in at the jag, gave him a quiet thumbs up, and we went from there.
