I'm not sure what kind of advice you're looking for, but the first advice I give to any writer is to make sure to polish (read: edit) your material as much as possible prior to publishing it, and even after you've put it up. This is especially necessary since you're in a community of writers--the more polished your work is, the easier it is to read and the more likely it is that someone will enjoy reading it. If they enjoy reading it, they're likely to recommend it to someone else. It looks as though you've got some interesting hubs there (the one about calorie burning is particularly humorous). Just get some affiliate links going, keep on top of developments (just like that crazy beer you wrote about), and polish, polish, polish. You'll get there, it just takes consistent work. Keep writing! :-)
Hi, I read your hubs and commented on the one about Burning Calories. That was cute. To improve them watch you spelling and sentence composition. Review your writing to 'hear' it flow well. The content is good, but some of your spelling and composition needs work! Best of Luck!

I was wondering if anyone would consider taking the time to stroll through my hubs and read a few? I would love more feedback, and I think it would help me get to know other hubpage authors. Thanks!

I am fairly new here, but what I've learned is that most people follow to get followers. (I was that person). What I discovered was that, if I follow you I am required to read your hubs when published. My suggestion; don't follow to be followed. Follow because you genuinely are interested in the...

Because I have been doing poorly on HubPages, I am thinking of cancelling my account and I wanted to say good-bye to the few followers that I have. I greatly appreciate your support and kind words. I have been trying to get my writing out there and have it critiqued. I can't seem to get...

I'm new to Hubpages (joined 2 weeks ago, 4 hubs). I'm trying to get some advice from some more experienced users. I've published a hub to help myself and other new users. Please leave any advice as a comment. I'm also hoping this will help me network with other users and find some experienced users...
