Would all you Hubbers out there rather have Followers or Fans??
recent change in phraseology which do you think is better?
LOL I don't think it really matters - they are the same thing at the end of the day! I just can't wait for my first 'followers mail' rather than 'fan mail'.
I would guess that follower gives a more 'professional' feel to it, as you are following someone's writing - fan seems to suggest putting someone on a pedestal...
Haha I am happy with anything
I only have 16 followers but work is good
I don't understand
Given those two choices I prefer the old way to the new one, so fans. A forum suggestion was made that I prefer to both: subscribers. Just like if you have a blog and people want to continue to read your new posts they "subscribe" to your blog via RSS.
Seems to me the word followers mean, people that go along with whatever you say. But the word fans, encourages you in a more positive way.
Fans! Definitely:) It sounds better. It gives you the sense of somewhat known or famous. Followers sound like a bunch of cucklings following the mother, LOL.

Do people really read the hubs of people they follow? Is it just me but I tend not to follow too many hubbers because I would never have time to write if I read all the hubs they submit. Perhaps I’m being naive here...

Not complaining but I don't understand hub. In an attempt to get involved, I started following a lot of Hubbers. Many of them followed me back and I am seeing a dramatic increase in viewing traffic for my hubs. I guess...
