You can write about what you want to! There aren't many rules relating to allowed content but you might want to check out this info:
Yes, providing it is in good taste. Some of the best hubs I have read are personal experiences. It is more valuable to the reader if there is a "message" that the reader can relate to. End your article on a positive note. Be sincere and truthful. Add photos that relate to your article. Check your spelling and grammar as you write. Good luck!
